Leah Fest 2026 went better than we could of ever imagined!! 💛

We are over the moon with the turnout we had celebrating what should have been Leah's 25th birthday. We loved seeing everyone come together and remember our girl Leah in the most special way. Leah was always about bringing everyone together even when life was hard 🌻

We raised an amazing £800!!!! So we want to thank each and everyone who helped out and made Saturday so special and to everyone who came to celebrate with us we couldn't do this without you all! 💛

We have a special announcement coming in the next few weeks something we are so so excited to share with you all but we wouldn't be in this position without each and every one of you so thank you all for helping us carry on Leah's legacy and making an impact on the world 💛

so this is where our amazing leah fest fundays have been held the last 2 years and again next month 💛

we are so thankful to @gina.mcdonagh.7 and @centralcu_ltd for letting us use this amazing space and bringing everyone to celebrate our girl 🌻

we can't wait to share with you all what we have planned for leah fest next month. this is going to be the best one yet we know it 💛

Please share! Our beautiful angel has made it into the news once again 💛🌻

Last week, we were contacted by @because_of_amy about a petition that was set up in memory of Amy, a young girl who sadly lost her life to cancer.

The petition is for young people who are fighting cancer or who have sadly lost their lives, and it is calling for the government to take action by making cancer training mandatory for GPs, so they are better able to detect cancer earlier and potentially save lives.

We were honoured to talk to @liverpoolecho about Leah’s story and help spread the petition even further.

Young people with Cancer need to be taken more seriously we receive hundreds of families message us who have lost someone to cancer and how it took far too long for GPs to diagnose them. It look the GP 10 months for Leah to be diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (a rare type of bone cancer) we truly believe that if GPs acted faster a lot of people who have lost their life to cancer would still be here today.
We have and always will advocate that something needs to change!

Cancer doesn’t wait, and neither should a diagnosis. Too many people face delays because there is no mandatory standardised cancer training for GPs across England.

This petition is calling for nationally mandated training on cancer warning signs, regular reassessment, and stronger standards to help catch cancer earlier and save lives.

WOW I’ve just heard this audio on someone else reel and it stopped me my heart started pounding out my chest finally an answer to how I am feeling I AM SCARED ☹️

Scared to go back to work
Scared to talk to the mums at the school
Scared to talk to the mums at gymnastics
Scared to get to close to anyone ever again
Scared to be happy because it’s just not fair on Leah

I am always wondering what’s wrong telling myself it’s normal to feel like this I’ve lost my person my baby my Leah but then using it as an excuse not to work not to come to that meal not to live

This audio enlightening me but I am still confused what am I supposed to do now it’s been 2 years and it just gets worse I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

We are excited to announce Leah Fest will be returning in July this year to celebrate our angels 25th birthday 🌻

We were so touched last year seeing everyone come together to remember Leah and we would love for everyone to come together again to celebrate her birthday with us 💛

There will be different type of entertainments on throughout the day which you can participate in, food and drinks available to purchase and many more!

Let’s come together again as a community and have another heartwarming day remembering Leah’s life and carrying on her legacy 💛

good morning everybody we hope you're all enjoying the sunshine ☀️

we are sorry for such silence over the last few months, with having the grief of christmas, leah's angel anniversary and everything else inbetween it gets too much somedays but that never stops us from thinking and organising plans behind the scenes 💛

pictured above are just a few of the things we've had going on the last few months we have been helping out a lot within our local community and had many people wanting to help and join in with raising money for us and joining in with fundraisers which we are always so thankful for.

if anyone would ever like to set up fundraisers, join in with fun days and bring along a stall or anything else like this please always just give us a message as we appreciate every one of you who helps us and leah would be so thankful too 🌻

we have some exciting things we will be sharing over the next few weeks so keep your eyes open for this 👀💛

💛🌻 2 years leah I can’t believe it nothings changed it’s still 11/03/2024 I will never leave you behind life’s so quiet and boring now me and Liam still spend everyday talking about you orla talk about you all day every day we will never forget ever 💛🌻

💛🌻people say times a healer the are liars people say death is peaceful they are liars I wake up state at the wall and go to bed couldn’t tell you what I’ve done in between I will never understand and I will never except it 💛🌻
