Life Update on My Jack…

As many of you know, Jack was diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy in February 2024 after suffering a violent seizure. His neurologist told us that with this type of epilepsy, he would never grow out of it and would be on medication for the rest of his life.

Since his diagnosis, it has been an incredibly difficult road for Jack. He felt as if he had lost his identity, and everything he had worked toward for years seemed to disappear before his eyes. But God shared Jeremiah 29:11 with Jack, and since then it has brought him peace — a constant reminder that God’s plans are always greater than ours.

Over the next year and a half, Jack had multiple brain scans, each one continuing to show seizure activity. But even then, we refused to give up hope. A year ago, I told his neurologist that I knew Jack would be healed — and he definitely looked at me like I was a little nutty.

Then, on November 21st, Jack had another brain scan and follow-up appointment. When the neurologist walked into the room to give us the results, my heart sank… until he said the words we had been praying for:
“There is NO seizure activity in his brain. Jack’s epilepsy is gone.” He had no explanation — but we certainly did. Thank you, Jesus!! JACK HAS BEEN HEALED! He is living, breathing proof of miracles!

And for the question everyone is asking… Can Jack ever fly again?
After he is three years seizure-free, he will be medically cleared with no restrictions. Jack’s response to that question is simply:
“We’ll see what God has planned for me.”
