POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As we enter the year of 2026, I would like to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful women who I got to make a special documentary with in 2025.

'Corps à Coeur' (Body to Heart) takes place at the Lucky Horse (@isofaculte.luckyhorse) in Mazan, where three women take part in a horse therapy program to rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic and sexual violence. It's a story about resilience, sisterhood and healing. It's about our bodies and our hearts.

When I think about the process of making this film, I think about the women who were a part of it. Whether they were in front of or behind the camera, I have been deeply inspired by them. They are the film.

I also think of all the moments of joy that we shared, whether it was during the shoot, the edit, the mix, the grade.

The film will be premiering at the BFI in March, as we enter the year of the fire horse. The fire horse is loyal and courageous and brings optimism and opportunity. She walks forward, never backwards.

Been looking through old hard drives and I think this is my favourite out-take from 'Corps à Coeur' (Body to Heart). I was filming the moon and realised the horses had other plans 🤍🥹🩵 by @jennybarruol
