Had to jump on this trend because the current dog emojis are simply not equipped to handle this much fluff and snoot.

What breed should get an emoji update next? 👇 by @jennycabcreates

Well, hi. 👋

More than 500 of you have wandered in here over the last two weeks, so it felt like a good time for a proper hello. Or re-hello.

Turns out 60 seconds is nowhere near enough to explain me, Nigel, the dogs, the drawings, or my tendency to take one very small joke much, much farther than necessary.

A few other things: I love color, weird little observations, making things with my hands, and dogs with a lot of opinions.

Jenny Cab is still something I squeeze into the spaces around the rest of life… for now. The dream is to someday make this funny little world of dogs and drawings my full-time thing.

So, sit. Stay awhile. There will be treats.

By treats, I mean dogs. Lots of dogs.

Here’s to seeing where this goes. Maybe this really is the place. 🤍🐕✏️ by @jennycabcreates

If you have a collie or a sheltie, you already know.

It was not actually possible to fit everything strangers say to you into one illustration.

So… keep scrolling, because, WAIT! There’s more. 😂

A simple walk is rarely just a walk. It’s more like a very small, very fluffy press tour.

Swipe for the extended edition.

What did I miss? What’s the one thing people always say to your collie or sheltie? by @jennycabcreates

Happy Howloween! 🎃 A few costume ideas. Some assembly required. Unless you’re a collie. by @jennycabcreates

Just once, it would be nice to pee without someone recognizing you from television. #collieproblems #pupparazzi by @jennycabcreates

Before he was on a bookshelf, Henley spent quite a lot of time on my iPad. 🐾

Julie Bond @k9freud and I met on Instagram through our shared love of collies. She cheered on my art, and I loved following her pups and reading her weekly blog: The Animal Behaviorist is In. Then she sent me a message asking if I’d illustrate a book about Henley and his unexpected favorite vegetable.

Her manuscript became my starting point, and little by little, this very real collie found his way onto the page. Every illustration was drawn in Adobe Fresco, with plenty of reference photos and a few hundred close inspections of that excellent snoot.

Still a little surreal to close the drawing app and open an actual book. 💛

The Dog Who Loved Eggplant is available now at Barnes & Noble online. We hope you’ll welcome Henley’s story into your home. Link in bio! by @jennycabcreates

A little something from the carbchives. 🥐 What’s this pastry called? New ideas in comments plz…. by @jennycabcreates

After making the collie emoji set, I had to give the @esperborzoi its own.

One set for the cultured borzoi.

One set for the unhinged borzoi.

They have so much good material I could have drawn at least ten more, but my toddler woke up from her nap. Alas, the studio closes when the toddler says so.

Which one are you choosing? Both is an acceptable answer. by @jennycabcreates
