We’ve been married two years today. But we’re going on seven together and it’s been a beautiful challenge. Romance and loss, Covid, blending families, new jobs, co-parents, lots of travel and laughs and good stuff and hard stuff. It took me two days to put this thing together, there are just too many memories to put into 90 sec. What’s worth doing that doesn’t take the effort? This is the most worth doing. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life. There’s a lot to celebrate over the last several years. Here’s to many many more. by @jennyflack

SNAP BENEFITS ARE ENDING NOVEMBER 1. The republicans have made it clear that they’re staying on vacation through the end of the year while they starve children.

I was food insecure when I was young. There were days my very resilient very hardworking mother would forego eating so she could feed us. 40+ million people in this country need food assistance. Not because they’re lazy. Because they live on too little. The system is broken. Billionaires get richer and single mothers who need a leg up can’t get ahead on their pay. This help is literally keeping people alive. So anyway. I’m gathering food for local food banks. My kids helped, because they don’t want other kids to go hungry. Pretty basic.

And if you need help, DO NOT BE ASHAMED. You deserve to eat. Everyone deserves to eat.
