Hi! Welcome if you are new here, allow me to reintroduce myself ✈️

I’m Jenny, a jetsetter, corporate finance girl, luxury travel & points content creator, matcha lover, and foodie 🌎

I’m based in San Francisco, working a demanding 9-5, and spending every spare moment obsessing over my next trip.

Here’s the thing about having limited PTO: you stop settling for average. I put my finance background to work, mastered the credit card points and loyalty perks game, and started booking luxury trips I didn’t think were possible on a normal salary.

I started sharing what I learned with friends and family, helping people take their dream trips using points they didn’t even know they had. Watching that happen is what built @jennyjetsoff.

This is where I show teach you to travel smarter, spend intentionally, and never settle for less than luxury 💳

Thank you for being here! Say hi if you’re new, or drop your biggest points and miles question below! ❤️

Your daily reminder to book the trip ✨

The project will still be there when you get back. The slow quarter you keep waiting for is not coming.

I work a full time corporate job, so I plan every trip around a PTO calendar and a points balance.

⭐️ Luxury hotels and flights booked with points, with the real numbers

⭐️ Itineraries built for people who get a week, not a month

⭐️ Honest reviews so your limited time off goes somewhere worth it

What’s the trip you keep pushing to next year?

Save this and send it to the friend who has maxed out their PTO balance! ❤️

We came back to this seafood market in Japan three days in a row for a $25 bowl ✨

Omicho Market in Kanazawa has some of the freshest seafood in Japan, and most of it comes straight from the Sea of Japan.

The bowl that kept pulling us back was the kaisendon at Yama San Sushi Honten. About 3,000 to 4,000 yen for a bowl piled with fresh sashimi. We also had nigiri which was delicious.

📍 Yama San Sushi Honten, Omicho Market, Kanazawa

💡 Go before noon. It’s the best time for the market and the lines are shorter.

💡 Walk the stalls after. We also had fresh uni and snow crab on our last morning.

What’s the one food you’d fly across the world for?

Save this for your Kanazawa trip and send it to the person you’d eat your way through Japan with! ❤️

The exact 5 day Banff itinerary I would hand a first timer ✈️

DAY 1 · Travel day

Start in the airport lounge before the flight to Calgary. Stop at the Safeway in Canmore to stock the fridge, settle into the Airbnb 20 to 25 minutes from Banff town, and enjoy a home cooked dinner.

DAY 2 · Morning

Drive the Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Stop at Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake and Peyto Lake, and get to Peyto early because it was already busy by 11am.

DAY 2 · Afternoon

Walk Mistaya Canyon, then picnic at Waterfowl Lakes since there is no food on the parkway. Head back for the Banff Gondola, dinner at The Bison and ice cream at Cow’s.

DAY 3 · Sunrise

Take the 6:30am shuttle to Moraine Lake for sunrise. Climb the Rockpile for the classic view.

DAY 3 · Morning

Ride the Lake Connector shuttle over to Lake Louise. Walk the lakeshore, then get out on the water in a canoe.

DAY 3 · Afternoon

Picnic at Storm Mountain View Point, then explore Banff town. End the night with a home cooked meal.

DAY 4 · Morning

Cross into Yoho National Park, the next park over, for Emerald Lake. The color is even better in person.

DAY 4 · Afternoon

Stop at Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada. Catch Vermilion Lakes on the way back, then fondue at the Grizzly House.

DAY 5 · Fly home

Relax in the Aspire lounge at Calgary airport before the flight home.

TIPS

💡 You can’t drive to Moraine Lake. Book the Parks Canada shuttle as soon as seats open in mid April or 2 days before your planned visit

💡 The Icefields Parkway has no food services, so pack lunch. Download offline maps the night before, because cell service drops past Lake Louise

💡 Restaurants book up quickly, make reservations at least 3 weeks out, especially if you have a big group

💡 You are in bear country. And we did spot a bear! Carry bear spray for safety

💡 Bring layers, night and day temperatures can vary widely, and you will need it for Moraine Lake sunrise

Save this for your Banff trip! ❤️

Everyone goes to Banff but misses this hidden gem only 1 hour away ✨

Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park is one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada, and it is only a 5 to 10 minute flat walk from the parking lot.

📍 Takakkaw Falls, Yoho National Park, British Columbia

💡 Your Parks Canada pass for Banff also covers Yoho.

💡 The road up has tight switchbacks and is only open part of the year, so check it is open before you go.

💡 Pair it with Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge for a full Yoho day.

Would you add this to your Banff trip?

Save this for your Banff trip! ❤️ @parks.canada @canada

Drive the Icefields Parkway in this exact order, and avoid this mistake we made📍

We left Canmore around 8:30am and headed north up the parkway. This is the order we would drive again.

⭐️ Crowfoot Glacier viewpoint. A quick pull over on the way

⭐️ Bow Lake. Walk the flat loop along the water

⭐️ Peyto Lake. A short walk up to the overlook for the wolf head shaped lake

⭐️ Mistaya Canyon. About 20 minutes round trip to a narrow gorge

⭐️ Waterfowl Lakes. Our picnic stop before turning back

💡 Start your day earlier than we did. Peyto Lake was already busy by the time we got there around 11am.

💡 There are no food services on this stretch. Pack lunch and a thermos.

💡 Cell service disappears past Lake Louise. Download offline maps the night before.

Which stop would you add?

Save this for your Banff trip! ❤️ @banff_lakelouise @parks.canada @canada

One of the most beautiful drives in the world ✨

The Icefields Parkway gets called that a lot. After driving it, I get it. Glaciers out the window, turquoise lakes at every pull over, and nothing but mountains for hours.

📍 Icefields Parkway, Banff National Park

💡 Pack lunch and download offline maps. There’s no food and no cell service on most of the drive.

What’s the most beautiful drive you’ve ever done?

Send this to your Banff road trip buddy! ❤️

This Calgary airport lounge is so full of greenery you forget you’re at the airport ✈️

Our flight home was delayed, and this was the best place we could have waited it out.

The Aspire Lounge in Terminal E is for transborder flights to the US. It’s big, bright and full of plants, so it still feels calm even when other travelers are around.

⭐️ Greenery everywhere you look

⭐️ So much space that it stays relatively quiet

⭐️ 3 semi-private pods where you can lie down and rest

⭐️ Real food, and good by lounge standards

📍 Aspire Lounge, Calgary International Airport, Terminal E

💡 We got in with Priority Pass. Flying from Calgary to the US, you clear US preclearance before you reach the lounge, so leave yourself time.

Where do you go to reset when your flight is delayed?

Follow for more airport lounge reviews! ❤️

“You’re so lucky you travel business class!” ✈️

Here’s the part nobody tells you. Award space usually shows up in two windows. About a year out when the calendar first opens, or last minute when airlines release what hasn’t sold.

If you work a corporate job like I do, you don’t usually have the flexibility to pack a bag and leave in two weeks. So a year out is your window. Book the seat, then have the PTO conversation.

💡 It’s okay if it isn’t one of those 60K sweet spot redemptions you see other people post about. Paying a few more points for the dates you can actually take off is still a good redemption.

💡 The goal was never to collect points. It’s to spend your time off in style, on a trip you actually get to take.

What’s the furthest out you’ve ever booked a trip?

Save this if your points and your PTO never seem to line up! ❤️

Here is exactly how much we spent for 5 days in Banff 🌎

We went as three couples and split everything six ways except flights. Here’s the breakdown for the two of us.

⭐️ Canmore Airbnb, 4 nights: $1,236. Worth the space and a good night’s rest.

⭐️ Rental SUV: $204, plus $47 for gas and parking. Reasonable for getting a big group around.

⭐️ Banff Gondola: $115. Worth the amazing views.

⭐️ Moraine Lake and Lake Louise shuttle and park pass: $44. Essentials to seeing the most famous viewpoints.

⭐️ Groceries: $180. The best way to balance dining out.

⭐️ Dining out in Banff town: $224. Dinners where you can relax and not worry about cleaning up.

⭐️ Total before flights: $2,050

⭐️ Flights: $1,284. Redeeming points was not worth it on this route, so we paid cash.

⭐️ Grand total: $3,334

💡 The biggest savings came from two decisions. Staying in Canmore instead of Banff town, and cooking half our dinners so the meals out could be the good ones.

Would you do Banff with friends to split it?

Save this for when you plan your Banff trip! ❤️

Moving postcards from Banff ✨

These are the moments I keep replaying ✈️

We took the 6:30am shuttle for sunrise and climbed the Rockpile. Worth every minute of the early alarm.

The flat lakeshore trail gives you this view the entire way. Easy walk, and it still stops you in your tracks. Renting a canoe gives you the feeling of the whole lake to yourself.

A short walk up to the overlook. Look for the wolf head shape in the water.

A flat loop right off the Icefields Parkway, with Crowfoot Glacier sitting above the water.

Just over the border in Yoho National Park. The color is even better in person.

One of the tallest waterfalls in Canada, and only a short flat walk from the parking lot.

Take the Banff Gondola up, then follow the boardwalk to Sanson’s Peak for views over the whole valley.

Just outside Banff town.

Which postcard would you send?

Send this to someone you would take to Banff! ❤️
