That’s a wrap on my first hosting season at @kilnfloatingsauna! This “jobby” made for a very joyful winter. Each shift was full of delights - I met lots of happy people, made new friends, enjoyed the lake and Navy Pier in all kinds of weather, learned new skills, and slowed down to just stare at the ducks swimming by and the glimmers of light off the lake. Truly so grateful to @zoelake who created this wonderful space and took me seriously when I asked if she could hire me within 3 minutes of my first session there 🤣 taken in Kiln Floating Sauna by @jennywesterkamp

✨Life update✨ The last recovery smoothie has been poured! I finished my 5th and final season with the Chicago Bulls!

Forming relationships with 40+ elite NBA players, understanding them as humans, asking their “why”, and helping them move forward on their nutrition journeys was a privilege. I was constantly inspired by their consistency, professionalism, and commitment to putting in the hard work day in and day out. To be able to have a front row seat to this team and to see how much the staff works to make it all happen was amazing to witness. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to work for the Chicago Bulls and be a part of this team. It was something I worked towards for 11 years before it actually became a reality.

Since @allaccessdietetics and my team has grown so much in the past few years, I couldn’t balance two separate careers anymore. So I’ll finally go “all in” on All Access Dietetics for the first time since I started the company in 2008! We are making a lot of impact on the future of dietetics, and even have a top secret project that I can’t wait to launch next month!

To future and current dietitians, I hope to inspire you to do anything you want in this profession. You can find your own path and do what is best for you. You can pivot and change your direction as your interests and goals change. Because just like there is no normal path to becoming a dietitian, there is no normal path in your career as a dietitian, either. And that’s the best part about it!
