Before there was Ave, there was my mom.

She raised me going to church and developing a deep relationship with Our Blessed Mother.

Her favorite color has always been sky blue. We jokingly call it “Blessed Mother Blue,” because we both know where that love of blue came from.

Through the years, my own relationship with Mary has continued to grow, and here we are today, with Ave Atelier.

Absolutely no words. When I lost my job in July, I decided to entertain starting a side business to create spiritual jewelry. I have been following @melissacbutterworth for a little while now and decided to read her book #Clues. Truly the book was God speaking to me and at that time it peeled me off the ground and gave me the confidence I needed through the stories only God knows would resonate with me. For those who know me, this project was never on my radar and I’ll explain more about it in coming months. But I’d listen to the audio version while I took my morning walks to keep myself busy and when I finished, Melissa announced her contest asking readers to share the lessons we’re using from the book. The only reason I pursued the business at all is because every time I stopped to think how crazy my idea was, and give in to the fear, I’d think of one of Melissa’s strategies and they were incredibly timely for me. Now I have a business plan and the funding to execute and I’m really in awe. Melissa has built success in life by choosing to look at things that happened in her past NOT as things that happened TO her, but as things that happened FOR her. And now I get to benefit from these and hopefully will pay it forward by helping others as well. @kelleytyan you brought us together through your incredible woman focused Bible empowerment groups, so thank you yet again for being an angel. Melissa, I really have no words because you’ve already inspired me when I needed it most. I cannot wait to learn from you. You are the mentor I’ve prayed for. Thank you, Jesus. by @jenroypr
