Beautiful things don’t just happen. They’re grown with intention, hard work, forgiveness, and the choice to keep showing up. 🤎🌿
Life gets more beautiful when you tend to what you love.

today, I’m proud of myself🤎
Even typing those words still feels a little awkward and selfish if I’m being completely honest. some of you can probably relate. It’s so much easier to be proud of others than it is to say we’re proud of ourselves! Right?

🤎 Raising adult children and learning to trust the way we raised them is something I don’t remember many people talking about. When my kids were younger we had constant conversations… Soy milk or whole? Private or public? Are we doing this right? Should we really move the kids (freshmen, sophomore, 4th grade) from the beaches of Southern California to Yakima, Washington?! Are we going to ruin their future…will they make friends or do crack…so on and so on!

🤎 Should I open a business in a town where people ALL know one another?

🤎 Will Scott and I be okay as empty nesters? so scary! What will we do without our kids’ sports, schedules to chase?!

There was no rule book for any of it. No therapist, self-help book, or podcast could give me all the answers. Some of these chapters were HARD, and at times they felt really lonely.

I know there will be more hard chapters ahead, but hard = growth!
today, I feel proud. 🤎

Proud of the personal growth. Proud that I’ve put in the work. Proud of the hard conversations, the therapy, the forgiveness, the letting go, and learning to love myself a little better. Most of all, I’m proud that I’m learning not to let other people’s opinions or judgments determine who I am or how I feel about myself.

This year has been full of finding beauty in the ashes, letting go of what I can’t control, loving myself better, and continuing to show up for the people and things I love.

Thank you to my husband, kids, family, and my people who have loved me, encouraged me, and walked beside me through these past eight months. 🤎 you know who you are🫶🏼

I’m grateful for where I’ve been, proud of where I am, excited for the chapters still to come!

My heart is so full from an amazing weekend celebrating Olivia’s grad party and the the honor of hosting a bridal shower for Kendall Sharp at our new home! It’s officially been christened!! What a joy to have this group of women in our home to celebrate Kendall and Garrison!!

She’s “fresh off the market”!!! 🖤🖤

The aunties and sister and mom once again knocked it out of the park with amazing help from @craftedyakima and @simplycraftedmarketplace

Celebrated 27 years of marriage
Turned 50 🎂
Carson transferred to WSU - go cougs!
Kendall and Garrisan got engaged! Enjoying the wedding planning!
Morgan and Nick became parents
Scottie Jean was born💞 and has stolen our hearts!
Upgraded to grandparents!
Travelled and reconnected with old and new friends ~
Soaked up family 💞

Scott and I enjoy this empty nest stage ~ it really makes us soak up and appreciate the times we get to all be together!
