This is basically us right now, staring at these news in utter disbelief.

Crust is on the Best Live Action Short Film Shortlist for the 97th Academy Awards®.
This wasn’t the plan when we started making this film. We never even dared to consider a journey like this - but now we‘re here. And for that we are incredibly grateful, to @theacademy and to our two qualifiying festivals @odensefilmfestival and Indy Shorts @heartlandfilm.

And of course to everyone who connected to this story. Viel Liebe, für immer. by @jens__georg

Send us a scar-story that we can share here and our super talented art-department @schlawinda_, @fagiana3animation, @annananra and @oriannina_ will do a digital drawing of it in the style of Crust‘s family tree!

We prefer videos to see your beautiful faces, but if you feel camera-shy we are also happy with DMs or voice messages.

Everyone in the Crust-Crew is super curious to hear all your scary, daring and probably quite bloody stories! by @jens__georg

Well hello there!
Have you lately thought about considering a film for Best Live Action Short? Do you like rollercoasters (and sometimes feel the heavy burden of generational trauma weighing on you)?
Then Crust might be just the film for you!
Qualified and therefore handselected by the Student Academy Award, Indy Shorts @heartlandfilm and @odensefilmfestival for your eyes and ears (and also your tastebuds if you have synaesthesia), you can now find Crust in the designated Screening Room!
Enjoy!
