Wrapping up this commission today-it’s going to get some gold leaf, just trying to decide how that will play out. More details soon on where this stag will find its home! 🦌.

I've been thinking a lot about the difference between what we can control and what we feel.

I was talking to my sis about astrology things, as we do, and we're in Virgo season with a lunar eclipse in Pisces on Friday. I had to fine out what all this means: Virgo wants to refine, organize, make sense of things. (yes, I've been in organizing mode all week!!) Pisces is much more elusive. It's intuition, dreams, mystery, emotion, the things we can't quite put into words.

And I recently painted this horse.

This is very different from the animals I usually paint on canvas or wood. Working on paper allowed me to let go a little more, leave things unresolved, and allow the horse to emerge from all the layers rather than describing every detail.

There's graphite, acrylic, washes, texture, loose marks, gold, bits of collage and a lot of space. The result feels quieter and more mysterious to me. And it feels like it has taken me so long to achieve this atmospheric vision.

And honestly, I think that's where I am-a point where I'm trying to trust what is emerging rather than needing to know exactly what comes next.

I don't have a title for this one yet.

What would you call her? 🖤🐎

Opinion needed! 🎨

I’m teaching a watercolor and charcoal mixed media class this Sunday, where I’ll be sharing my technique for combining the two.

I’ve been playing with these two black bird studies and would love your input. Which one speaks to you more, the first or the second?

No need to overthink it-whatever you're drawn to first. 🖤 by @jensinghcreatively

A throwback to one of my flying owl paintings, A Twilight Sojourn. ✨

This owl was so popular, I got 2 commissions after selling the original! I still love him so much and tempted to paint him again. 🤔

The original has sold, but you can still find this piece as a fine art reproduction on paper, canvas, or metal.

I’m calling it the Perfect Ten Flash Sale because, well… the date practically demanded it.

Just a little excuse to bring some art home. 🤍

Doors open and porch weather finally showing up! Also it's a good time for thrifting and antiquing-I've been wanting to switch up some rooms. And maybe something new for the walls?

What inspires you in the fall? Tell me below. 🍂

October has a way of turning into a collection of little finds. A bag of apples, a few white pumpkins, that cinnamon broomstick I definitely don't need… and maybe a painting.

“Dream” could be this weekend’s find.

New prints have landed on my website! 🦌✨ Here’s a peek at one of them.

Not quite ready to invest in an original? Totally okay. Fine art reproductions are a beautiful way to bring my work into your home, whether you’re filling out a gallery wall or adding a little magic to that nook that’s been waiting for just the right piece.

Choose from fine art paper, gallery-wrapped canvas, or glossy metal (my personal favorite!). ✨

October invites us to embrace the dark side, when nights arrive earlier, shadows grow longer, and everything seems touched by a little stardust. 🖤

A little gratitude before the week comes to a close. 🤍

Thank you for following my work, for stopping to look at a painting, for sharing something I've created, for bringing art into your home, and for simply being here.

Painting is such a solitary thing most of the time. The work begins quietly in my studio, and then somehow it travels outward and becomes part of someone else's life. I never take that for granted.

Today is the final day of my World Gratitude Day sale.

Use code WGD2026 for 25% off available artwork through tonight.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
