5 years on Testosterone

December 7th, 2017-> December 7th, 2022

When I say HRT was one of the best decisions of my life, I mean it. It took me years of therapy to have the courage to accept myself and let go of the fear of what people might think. I am a much happier now.

(second awkward puberty phase and all)

I have never felt more at home in my own skin and more at peace in my own body. What a gift transitioning has given me to teach me that even if it's scary, it's always worth it to show up as you are. The confidence I've gained with transitioning has helped me grow in countless areas of my life. Best decision ever.

Posting a little photo dump for 2025, first up winter 2025: Jackson Hole ski trip, Snowmobiling in Yellowstone, and moving into a home with @danielle.s.giammatteo ❤️

I have to admit I'm posting so late, because social media has been a but tough this year.. It’s been exhausting to witness the volume of hate and cruelty directed at other humans (immigrants, trans folks ,bipoc folks, women, disabled folks and beyond).

It has felt heavy to post while the country continues to fight to diminish the existence of trans people. But trans people are just people—living our lives, loving, seeking joy, working hard, and getting through each day like anyone else.

I’m incredibly grateful for my friends and family who continue to bring joy, safety, and light into my life. Here are some of my favorite moments from 2025. 🤍 by @jenson_little

Presidential Traverse, in a day!

9 peaks, 22 miles, 9000ft of elevation gain. So happy to do it with these goons. We got so lucky to have the best weather (knowing how unpredictable Mount Washington is) ☀️ by @jenson_little

“I wanted to be on @ninjawarrior to share my story & I kept applying to come back because it’s such a fun sport. It’s so cool to see what your body is capable of. I also wanted to represent my community because there’s a lot of media out there about trans folks & I wanted it to be coming from a trans person. Our messaging should be coming from us. The media needs more accurate stories.”

“It’s really powerful, no matter how you identify in life, to share your story. I think that’s the best way that people can learn. There are a lot of people who’ve never met a trans person or don’t know us personally. For those folks, I hope that through seeing @claytonjayreeves’ story in episode 5, & through my story in episode 6, people will learn a bit. For the folks who are in the community, I’m so impressed & happy that American Ninja Warrior has featured both of us because it helps people to see that I can be trans & I can be successful in life. I can do the things that I love & find jobs that I love. Hopefully it helps people to know that they’re not alone.” - @jenson_little speaks exclusively with The Queer Review’s editor @jameskleinmann about returning to American Ninja Warrior to compete in season 17, catch him in the qualifiers round on episode 6 airing @nbc Monday, July 7th 8pm ET/PT 7pmC & stream on @peacock.
