Dear Max,

You’re 10 years old today!

How did that happen so fast?!

It feels like yesterday you were snuggling with me on the couch watching Mickey mouse!

But now, you’re too old for snuggling and holding my hand...

I feel like I blinked and you’re now wearing my shoes!

We’ve been through a lot together.

We’ve stuck together through thick and thin.

On the good days,

On the bad days,

Long nights.

On the sunny days,

and the rainy days, too.

When you were winning,

And when you were losing, I was there reminding you to never give up!

I’ve been your mom, your best friend, and your teacher.

I can’t wait to see what this year holds for you!
