Time is value, and most people sell their time away for 17 an hour, while others are out here charging thousands of dollars for a one-hour session. So many of us are making it up as we go, and that’s really what adulthood is, right? I think one of the biggest lies social media has convinced people to believe is that you need thousands of followers before you can make real money.You don’t.Because if your income depends on your follower count, your business is built on borrowed land. I get asked all the time why I chose high ticket affiliate marketing over all the other businesses out there. The answer isn’t just because of the money. It was because I was intentional about the life I wanted to build.1. I was so stuck in guilt, trying to show up 100% for my job and 100% for my baby, and I felt like I was failing at both. To be honest, this was the first business model that I felt could actually provide the life I wanted.2. This wasn’t a side hustle that was going to make me a couple hundred dollars a month. It had the potential to replace, and even surpass, my management salary in just one or two sales. Which ultimately meant I could get my time back.3. I didn’t want to spend years building something that would never actually change my life.
