A few days ago we said goodbye to our sweet, stubborn little Penelope.

I rescued her 10 years ago from a shelter in LA, and she quickly proved to be... quite the handful. Anxiety, sleepless nights, and a personality that demanded all the attention. Thankfully Devon stepped in and became her true home, her mom, and her whole world.

Penelope — also known as P, Peeps, Poops, and pee pee poo poo — was our little gremlin. Sweet, loving, frustrating, hilarious, and completely unforgettable.

She survived breast cancer twice, and even when she became blind, deaf, and a little confused, she still knew how to work a room and make everyone fall in love with her.

Devon, thank you for loving her the way you did and for giving her the life she deserved. She adored you more than anything.

She will be missed by so many people.
