Remember, not every opinion needs room in your mind. Surround yourself with voices that genuinely care and let their insights guide you. True growth comes from listening to those who have your best interest at heart. Accountability is key, and so is choosing wisely whose words to hold close. Let’s focus on the voices that matter, and let the rest be just noise in the wind. by @jeremyfoster

I haven’t written words on paper like I should’ve done, but I’ve written a lot on the page of life that was left open for me. I’ve learned this over and over, in those moments when the world feels too heavy, when every step seems like a battle, remember: it’s always too soon to quit.

No matter how steep the climb or how fierce the storm, there’s no good reason to surrender. Lean into your faith, God walks beside you. He has an uncanny way of turning every struggle into strength. Paul wrote Philippians 4:13 in prison. He offered such a unique perspective on struggle when he said, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’

Let this be your anchor, your unwavering truth. Even if you’ve already quit, given up, messed up, lost everything, time has a miraculous way of reshaping our battles, of turning our trials into testimonies. So hold on, your story isn’t over yet. The daybreak comes just after the darkest night.

Just keep moving forward, with every step you’re crafting a legacy of resilience and hope.

I’m praying for you. Let’s hold each other up, sometimes that’s all we’ve got and it might just be all we need.

Love y’all,
JF

I come from a family of cowboys and we love to ride in rough country. I’ve broken bones from the back of a horse but that didn’t stop me from loving this cowboy life. My dad always told me, “If you get bucked off, get back on!”
The same is true for you in life.

This isn’t the first time you’ve cried, been out of breath, out of money, and out of ideas.
This isn’t the first time you didn’t see a way out.
This isn’t the first time you’ve been hurt.
This isn’t the first time your heart was broken.

You need to say this to yourself right now!
“I will live to tell the story, this too shall pass! I WILL NOT QUIT!”

There is a blessing on the other side of your burden! Get up, get dressed, get out, and go do what you are called to do! Just keep getting up, even if you don’t have anything left, just show up, that’s 50% of the game!

Don’t give up, or give in, and you will get through!
Remember:
𝙋𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝙄𝙎 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙀𝙉𝙏

Just keep climbing.
Love you guys,
J

So many of us are searching for the will of God, but sometimes we miss it because we don’t understand it.

The Bible reveals God’s will in three ways.

His Sovereign Will: What God has determined to accomplish. Building His Church, reaching people, and advancing His Kingdom.

His Moral Will: What God has already commanded us to do. Love, forgive, serve, live with integrity, and obey His Word.

His Personal Will: The specific direction God has for your life, your purpose, and your next steps.

Some of the biggest mistakes of my life happened when I was more focused on what I wanted than what God wanted.

The quickest way to discover God’s personal will is to obey His moral will and get involved in His sovereign will.

We spend so much time asking God what to do next that we overlook what He’s already told us to do.

Stop waiting for new direction when God has already given you instructions.

Obey what He’s said. Get involved in what He’s doing. Trust Him with where He’s taking you.

See you @riverstone.church this weekend in Huntsville, Texas 💪🏼🙏🏼. by @jeremyfoster

When you blow your life up, you give every friend you have an off-ramp.

And for good reason.

If you made the mistake, broke the trust, or created the mess, you don’t get to be angry at people who need distance while the dust settles. Let that sink in because it’s heavy.

But you NEVER forget the people who stay.

My friend @waynefrancis could have left. Instead, he came over, sat on the back porch, and was just there. The best friends don’t always know what to say. They just know when not to leave.

I’ve learned that sometimes the greatest gift a friend can give you isn’t advice. It’s their proximity when your issues gave them permission to leave.

Wayne has written a book called Make Friends With Anyone. And I can tell you this: he doesn’t just write about friendship. He lives it.

Go buy Wayne’s book wherever books are sold. I promise you, he’s legit a great dude, great writer, and even better friend. by @jeremyfoster

I’ve made enough wrong turns in my life to know that wanting God’s will and wanting God to approve my will are two VERY different things.

A a lot of times I thought I was asking God for direction, but I already knew what I wanted. I was looking for a Scripture, an open door, a confirmation, anything that would confirm that what I wanted was also what God wanted for me.

It took a long time, but I’ve finally learned that surrender has to come before direction.

Before I ask God, “What do You want me to do?” I have to settle, “Whatever You want, my answer is yes.”

Because if I’m only willing to hear God when He agrees with me, I’m not really seeking His will. I’m seeking His approval of mine. And that makes me God in that scenario. I’ve learned the hard way that you can’t “out Jesus”, Jesus.

Some of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my life happened when I chose preference over purpose. It’s not fun to admit that, but as I look back over my life, honestly, it’s true every time.

God’s will becomes a lot clearer when I stop asking Him to bless what I want and start surrendering to what He wants.

Surrender first. Direction second. by @jeremyfoster

Some of the worst places I’ve ended up in started with something I WANTED.

Some of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my life happened when I confused my preference with God’s direction.

Here’s what I’ve learned: my voice will always pull me toward my preference. God’s voice will ALWAYS pull me toward His purpose.

And if you follow the wrong voice, eventually it will leave you in the wrong place.

Don’t just ask, “What do I want?”

Ask, “What is God saying?”

Preference may feel right in the moment.
Purpose will lead you where you’re meant to be.

You can have a good defense, or you can have grace but you can’t have both.

That’s a hard lesson when the pain you’re dealing with is self-inflicted. Consequences are real. Grace is real, too. And strangely enough, they can exist at the same time.

But growth requires something else. Extreme ownership.

No matter what you’re dealing with, tell the truth and tell it fast! I’ve learned the longer you hide the truth, the more damage it does.
