Pokemon First Partners Collection: ✅

I’m so excited to finally complete all 9 generations of connecting cards for the first partners series!

I’m old so my favorite is Gen 1: Kanto.

What’s your favorite pokemon generation?

Ascended Hero’s Mega Meganium EX let’s go!

Not gonna lie, I was really disappointed I didn’t hit anything in this set. I got absolutely cooked.

But then I looked through the cards and I realized there were quite a few I needed for my Ascended Heroes master set.

It was a good reminder that it’s not all about the chase cards. I added 13 cards to the collection. 4 of which I didn’t have. 8 were either holo, masterball or energy versions. Oh and of course the Mega Meganium Ex promo card.

Progress towards trying to catch them all.

Kuya opened his first booster bundle last week and added a few more shiny cards, ex’s and an IR to his collection. ✨

Trying to complete the First Partners Series

I’m just two away from completing all nine of the first partners series. I’m missing two generations from Series 3 so you know what that means…

Time to checkout our local game store @gamesofberkeley if they have any in stock…

🍀 Luckily they did! So I made sure to snatch one up days before the release of the 30th anniversary so nobody beats me to it.

I still need to 2 out of 3 so we have a low chance of doubling up, but now that I said it, did I just jinx it?

Saw @kankollects video and just couldn’t help myself and decided to stitch it.

Hi I’m Jerico. I’m a father of two and we’re new to collecting Pokemon cards.

I try to get two of everything, one for each child to keep the peace in the house. ✌️😃

I got these tins back in July and haven’t gotten any since. We ripped them already as you can see and just happen to have them still and I collected them for the stitch.

Wishing you happy hunting for cards this weekend. I heard there was a drop for Destined Rivals earlier today as well as rumors of early sightings of the 30th anniversary release before the drop next Wednesday…

Didn’t make it to the Pokemon Championships when it came to San Francisco but a couple of thoughtful friends gifted me this hat, bracelet and card from the event

Mega Embroar Ascended Heroes Tin 🔥

It’s been a little while since I ripped some packs so here goes!

I skipped the video this time and went straight to it.

I went 0-2 to start not even an EX and then…

I hit a Regice EX and Ionos Bellibolt SIR to rally back!

Here’s hoping you pull some hits this week!

Can’t believe I got two more Surging Sparks ETBs at MSRP⚡️

I made it a goal to stash some ETBs for my sons for when they got older so they can have some fun ripping.

So I’m picking them up as I go trying to get 2x of each ETB and hoping I have the patience to not rip into it.

My eldest son Kuya just started collecting cards and ripping packs. He is chasing holos at the moment but showing a strong preference for dragon types, specially Charizard. 🔥

We are starting off slow. A couple single packs, just opened his first tin… just ripping a pack on weekends. He actually just got his first Illustration rare!

We will eventually work our way up to the ETBs. Probably by Christmas. By then I hope to have a few more boxes and packs so we can have a very merry time opening packs. 🎄

Here’s hoping you catch a great deal this week!

Kuya opened his first tin last week and he got his first EX!

He has a special place for them in his binder along with the holos ✨

New binder!

I gave the pikachu binder to Kuya so that he can start his own Pokemon card collection. Not too long after he raided the bulk boxes and pulled out all the holos he can find to fill it.

This binder is going to be my PC. Not quite sure yet what I will fill it with but I do know that this is where I’m putting the First Partner Series.

Originally I wasn’t going to try and chase them but I’m a sucker for connecting cards and when I finished series 1, I flowed into series 2 and now here we are starting series 3.

Gotta catch them all right?
