You already know I was still out here doing my thang!! Chile was such a good experience for me, including all the little setbacks along the way. What helped tremendously was a local CrossFit box in Santiago @crossfit_santiago! When I showed up fresh off my flight, 8am, jet lagged - they were super welcoming and kind from the start. They let me nap on their bean bag until the next class started 🫶🏽 Throughout the week, it was a little safe haven for me. Pavel, Diego & Franco are amazing coaches and it was super fun to do CrossFit in Spanish lol this place is amazing, the people are amazing, if you’re ever in Santiago and are looking for a local box to hit a WOD, go check them out!! Pavel is such a good dude! He also teaches jiu jitsu upstairs! Things couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. Un millón de gracias @pavel.saenz @crossfit_santiago 🤍 by @jeriiilyn_

Taking this time to appreciate and hold near to my heart, the amazing and positive experience I had here! There will always be a special place in my heart for Chile and the people. Despite the massive hiccup to end this trip, the positive will outweigh the negative. Chile is the best!! 🇨🇱❤️But man what a roller coaster! Up, downs, problems/situations, problem solving, resolve, relief, repeat. I wouldn’t change any of what I’ve gone through for anything, everything worked out the way it was supposed to. Even if that means I get home 14 hours later than I was supposed to by @jeriiilyn_

Separate post for the other people in my life who have made a huge lasting impact on me and the way I get to live today. The women in my life, thank you for the kindness, love, compassion, tenacity and strength you have showed me throughout this journey. For holding that space for me. For setting that example. And everyone else posted and unposted, for guiding, inspiring, encouraging, and walking with me on this path, showing me the way. I couldn’t and can’t do it alone. Creator is in everything, everyone and everywhere. Thank you to anyone who has ever showed me love and kindness.Life has been pretty incredible since that night over three years ago and many nights since then, that I prayed to Creator and my ancestors for the courage and strength to take a step forward, toward healing from all the pain and sorrow I was living through. It’s the single greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Sharing this in hopes it might help or give hope to anyone who might be struggling. Hit 3 years of sobriety today ✨ and no better way to spend it than putting in some work and eating good, as always, with someone who has been there for me since the very beginning. My big bro @xdiondennyx , first time I met him was at a Wellbriety meeting. Then soon after I showed up @therecoverygym, have never left since. I owe him a huge thanks. First off, for putting up with me lol but more so, for the acceptance, compassion, guidance, belief, encouragement, support and generosity he has shown me in these past 3 years.
