With @lemansfc.officiel officially securing promotion to Ligue 1, it feels like the right moment to publicly share that I recently joined the club’s ownership group through NinetyTwo X, advised by Sana Advisory.
As a French entrepreneur and sports enthusiast, being able to contribute to the future of such a historic French club is something I’m truly honored by.

Over the past weeks, it has been incredibly exciting to follow this journey as a shareholder, and honestly extremely stressful being in Bastia for the decisive final match of the season and living every moment of it. But that’s exactly why I joined this project: passion.

I’m very proud to join this ambitious adventure alongside Outfield, NinetyTwo X, @nxtplaycapital @_gonzalovila , @georgiosfrangulis, world-class athletes such as @djokernole, @thibautcourtois, @massafelipe , @kevinmagnussen , and other incredible shareholders.

What makes this story even more special is the journey itself. In 2013, Le Mans FC was relegated to the 6th division of French football. A decade later, under new management, the club is back in Ligue 1 with one of the most incredible comeback stories in football.

From the first discussions with the club and the investors, I could already feel the passion, ambition and energy around the project, which makes this achievement even more exciting to witness today.

Huge congratulations to the management, staff, players, supporters and everyone involved in making this incredible story possible.

Beyond football, I truly believe there are incredible opportunities to create synergies between sports, gaming and esports around the club and its growing international visibility. My goal is simple: help bring value to the club and contribute, in any way I can, to helping Le Mans FC reach even greater heights for the fans and the city.

With my background in motorsport and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, joining a club carrying the Le Mans name also felt very special to me.

De son côté, Jérôme Coupez, qui a toujours rêvé d’investir dans un club de foot, a aussi un champ d’action bien précis en tentant de faire le pont entre Le Mans FC et l’e-sport : « Il y a un enjeu pour le club d’aller chercher cette jeune génération, de les faire s’intéresser au foot et de les faire s’intéresser au Mans plutôt qu’à un autre club. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire, sans forcément faire que du jeu de foot. Par exemple, on peut prendre un jeu comme "Rocket League", un des jeux les plus joués et regardés au monde, avec une fan base très jeune, et créer des relations évidentes entre ce jeu et le club. Il y a toute une expérience qu’on peut créer avec le club autour du e-sport et du gaming qui n’est aujourd’hui pas faite. »

« Il y a une vraie attraction autour du club, conclut Jérôme Coupez. Tous les actionnaires ont cette culture de la performance et on a tous une vision similaire du développement du club, sinon nous n’aurions pas rejoint le projet. Cette diversité, c’est une force. »

« C’est un projet sur le long terme, on n’a pas envie de se précipiter, de faire les choses à moitié, ajoute Jérôme Coupez. Et, surtout, on veut les faire de façon authentique. Il faut que ce soit quelque chose qui fasse sens, et auquel les fans d’e-sports, de gaming et l’audience se reconnaissent. J’ai une liberté de réflexion et de proposition d’idées qui est assez plaisante. » by @jerome_coupez
