My mom told me the man next to her cried…yeah, I’d hoped someone walked away feeling proud…and vindicated. I sure did.

To anyone who’s ever felt underestimated, misjudged, given dirty looks…yall were my motivation last night. And, so were these heroes, these airmen…who deserve more recognition than photos by restrooms.

Now it’s your turn folks…”finish what we started.” Take flight. 🛩️ 🫡 by @jeronbro

A lot going on in this crazy world right? Sometimes, it’s good to hear a powerful story, feel something, laugh, cry, find some pride, and maybe leave a little more inspired than when we walked in.

That’s one of the things I’ve loved most about being part of this story.

It’s been 20 years since I touched a theater stage, Glad to perform with such a talented cast, tech and staff team.

Only TWO DAYS left to catch the show, and tomorrow I’ll be closing it out as Wood. 🎭

Come join us as we land this plan. 😉 🎭 🛩️

Why should you come see the show? I’ll tell you, but honestly, I’d rather let you experience it for yourself…no spoilers here! 🎭 Here’s why I think you should grab a ticket and come see what we’ve been working on. by @jeronbro

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes before the audience ever takes their seats. Cast, crew, staff, rehearsals, set work, and plenty of moving pieces all come together to bring this story to life. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the people putting it all together. 🎭 taken in Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd - Norfolk, VA by @jeronbro

New Hope COGIC helps individuals, like myself, who are going through transitions. They provide shower assistance, food assistance, and a warm meal some days of the week.

While I was there, I ran into Mr. Sutton, who happened to be wearing a really cool hat with an airplane on it. It immediately caught my attention, so I asked him if it was a Tuskegee Airmen hat. He said it was.

I told him how ironic it was because I’ll be performing as a Tuskegee Airman on September 26th.

Hear from Mr. Sutton about being a supporter of the group, and enjoy some behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage from the production. ✈️ taken in New Hope COGIC by @jeronbro
