Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
Here’s a lil recap of what went down in 2025~

It was an exciting yet difficult year for me, so much to look forward to and yet my body could not keep up. I was sick every 2-3 weeks, had influenza mid travel, had Covid, food poisoning, vertigo, stomach flu (you name it). The insomnia spells did not help and it was defo a year of extreme bad health for me 🥲 (Which fengshui master said it was a good year for dog huhhh whichhh one of youuuu???)

There were also many firsts, our first home, our first Reno, our first trying to pick a shade of white among 200 shades of white in the catalog for our walls 🤣 I am blessed that we both have similar tastes in design and are both so meticulous when it comes to planning and coordination, which makes the overall process so much more bearable and less stressful than it would have been 🥲 (but still very stressful, let’s never move again 🤣)

This was also a year where I experienced a few departures of the stray cats that I feed (I didn’t say this before but…Pin Pin has crossed the rainbow bridge and my heart aches just thinking about it) I hope she is happy and painfree now with Lala and Macchiato, frolicking in treats and catnip 🐱🌈

Then came the wedding planning which came and went like a whirlwind, so much to do, so little time, just a tornado of chaos that swept us off our feet and the next moment we be dancing down the aisle already. Greatest shoutout to my entourage for the amazing execution, everything fell in place perfectly and I couldn’t ask for a more dreamy wedding 💕

Ultimately, I’m really thankful for all my fam and friends who stuck around and watch me grow~ who watched me fall to my lowest but was never hesitant to help pick me up and dust me off 💕 2025 was not an easy year and I’m grateful to all of yall who were by my side when I was down (you know who you are 😘🙆🏻‍♀️)

Last but not the least, thank you my hubby @baconlettuceteomato for choosing me and choosing life with me 😘 We can now roll around at home and chill after all these months (many many months) of hard work 💪🏻

15 Nov 2025 ~ We finally sealed our love with a Disney-themed wedding 💍💕

Wedding planning is a beautiful and chaotic process, and I loved how ours rolled out nicely despite the many setbacks~ Thank you to my awesomest entourage for the months and weeks of hard work leading up to our special day~ We couldn’t have done it without you guys! 💕 Special thanks to @jolyntps & my cousins @jiaxuann @nana_theexplorer @jelly___na @bread._boat too who helped me so so much during prep and coordination too 🙆🏻‍♀️ and of course both my parents and Darren’s parents for supporting our journey into forever ❤️

Still reliving the day like it just happened and so so glad I managed to hold my tears through the day~ Was tearing up a little as I rewatched this video, every tender moment and interaction, every little detail, and I’m just so happy and blessed to be surrounded by the people I love on this special day 🥹 Thank you to all who made time and attended our happily ever after~ 🏰👸🏻🤴🏻

We moved into our APT APT 🏠🥰
Soft launch of a move in with our necessities~
Thank you to my fam for helping me bring stuff over 💕
& bro for helping to film the process hehe 📷

& @chuajiaqian (who came in the evening but we forgot to take a photo tgt #howcan 🥲)

Feeling surreal amidst the excitement and exhaustion~
It’s been such a long period of reno (and it’s still not 100% done LOLS) but we’re happy to finally move in 🤩
Was blanking out through the whole process so just kept saying “huat ah” while salt bae-ing the entire house 🤣

A turbulent birthday this year 😂 Was up in the air on a red eye flight when the clock struck 12 and the turbulence gave me motion sickness 🤣 Coughing and gagging on the plane while hugging the air sickness bag is a whole new way of celebrating a birthday 🤣 (There was also a system error when we were booking meals and somehow my inflight meal became a low-fat meal LOLSSS but anyways couldn’t eat much coz of the motion sickness) SIA gave a mango mousse cake that half melted when I reached home so…shall eat it with a spoon tmr 🤣)

Landed at 5 plus am and went alcohol shopping in a daze, can I just say I’m in love with all the Bottega I see 😍 So many pretty bottles and I’m wishing for my wedding gowns to be as sparkly hehe (also thankful for the nice cashier who was helping to maximise our savings by splitting our transactions)

Reached home at 6 plus and after bathing and stuff just toh until 2pm (now my body clock is kinda weird) 😵‍💫

Received some lovely deliveries from friends and relatives and just stoned the rest of the day wishing for a full recovery soon 🤧😷 The cake bro bought was a Sakura cherry cake and it was awesome 🎂 (also I low key look radiant in the photo sia despite everything 🤣)
