On Halloween, the IN77 mall by West Lake was packed to capacity yesterday. Just look at those crowds—it was so jammed that they even had to close the subway entrances. I honestly don’t get it: why are people so worked up over a Western holiday? #hangzhou #hangzhouchina #halloween by @jerry.lw
I don't get why Chinese people are so obsessed with Western holidays. Halloween—a night of roaming spirits. Everywhere around Longxiangqiao is blocked. Due to the massive crowds, the subway entrance has been shut down; no one is allowed in. No taxi, no Metro, Bus move slowly..... So just walk.... Crazy 😧 #hangzhou #hangzhouchina #longxiangqiao #westlake by @jerry.lw
Everyone is at Longxiangqiao this weekend. I'm really curious—do these people have nowhere else to go? What's even fun to do here? The crowds are absolutely terrifying. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I really can't get the mindset of young people. #hangzhou #china #hangzhouchina #weekend #westlake by @jerry.lw
Final inspection need workers' eyesight and attention to focus on detail. Many minor issues can easily be overlooked without careful examination. Find the defective parts and handle them carefully. #sweater #Chinesefactory #workmanship #manufacturer by @jerry.lw
Visited the local fabric market today to source new materials and get a pulse on current bestseller trends. One clear shift caught my attention: fabric suppliers aren't just selling textiles anymore—many are actively designing complete apparel styles. When market dynamics get challenging, adaptation becomes essential. Expanding capabilities isn't just an option; it's a strategic move to add value and stay competitive. How is your supply chain adapting to changing market demands? #fabric #Hangzhou #textiles #fashiondesign #coat #clothing by @jerry.lw
Nowadays, e-commerce platforms offer a 7-day no-reason return policy. So many women buy clothes, wear them for a few days, and then return them hassle-free! Merchants are terrified of this trend. Their solution? Attach oversized tags and heavy-duty security loops so customers can't wear the clothes several days and still return them. This helps sellers avoid extra express, labor, and packaging costs, while preventing people from abusing the system. A healthy marketplace is being ruined by these people. Sigh... I wonder if cross-border e-commerce in other countries faces the same issue. #hangzhou #Chinafactory #wardrobing #wearandreturn #sweaters #ladyfashion by @jerry.lw
The weather has cooled down, and more people are fishing by the river. Look at them—all huddled together, though I wonder if they’ll manage to catch even a single fish by the end of the day! Hahaha. #hangzhou #杭州 #China #fish #fishing by @jerry.lw

The sweaters are finished and ready for ironing and packing. Cardigan styles with button plackets take a little extra time and care to iron it properly. Iron Cost is expensive, around Usd0.50/pc.. #sweater #cardigan #chinesefactory by @jerry.lw
Two small chili plants on balcony. I can pick some every week. I harvested the large ones today, but left a few smaller ones to grow for a few more days. #hangzhou #chili #balconygarden by @jerry.lw
The chili peppers on my balcony are growing pretty slowly. I've only picked several pieces, and the others are still tiny. Since it's probably getting close to autumn, they likely won't grow anymore. 😅 #balcony #peppers #flowers #China #Hangzhou by @jerry.lw
The prices of gasoline-powered cars are really cheaper than several years ago. Audi, for example, has become much cheaper. Nowadays, the price of a C-segment car can sometimes get you a D-segment car. Audi A5 imported, basic style from usd 28000.00, several years ago, it started from usd52000.00. Now, are carmakers actually selling these cars at a loss, or were they making 100% profit before? There’s no doubt that Chinese EVs have pushed down the prices of traditional gasoline cars. #car #chinesecarprice by @jerry.lw
