Throwback Thursday | Behind the Scenes | Supernatural

Playing Ramiel, Prince of Hell in Supernatural (Season 12, Episode 12) was one of the coolest roles I’ve ever had.
Working with director Richard Speight Jr. and such an incredible cast and crew made this an unforgettable experience.

A little behind-the-scenes story...
I got stuck in traffic and arrived about 45 minutes late for my audition. I was the last actor they were seeing, so they actually stayed and waited for me.
I was convinced I’d blown it. I was stressed out, frustrated, and sure the opportunity was gone.

Then...
I booked the role.
Who knew?

Everything is training.

TOOL TUESDAY
Sometimes all it takes is one minute to reset your mind.
One of the ways I like to start my day is with Box Breathing. It's a simple technique that helps me begin the day with a clear mind, renewed focus, and a sense of discipline.

It's a technique that's widely used by first responders, military personnel, athletes, and other high performers to help stay calm and focused under pressure.

Give it a try. You might be surprised what one minute can do.

• Inhale for 4 seconds
• Hold for 4 seconds
• Exhale for 4 seconds
• Hold for 4 seconds
Repeat for 4 rounds.

It only takes about a minute, and it might be just the reset you need.
Sometimes the simplest tools make the biggest difference.

🎭 Theatre Spotlight
I honestly don't remember the last time I laughed this hard.
The Play That Goes Wrong is, without question, the funniest production I've ever seen.

The cast was outstanding. The timing was flawless. The physical comedy, the set design, the writing, and the direction by Josh Epstein were absolutely brilliant. Every element worked together perfectly, and the entire audience was laughing from beginning to end. If you're looking for a night of nonstop laughter, I can't recommend this show highly enough.

Do yourself a favor and go see it while you can.

🎬 Behind the Scenes
Most people never see this part of filmmaking.
When I walked into wardrobe on Tracker, this board was waiting for me.
These reference boards help define the look, feel, and energy of a character before the cameras ever roll.
Walking into wardrobe and seeing my photo alongside actors like Jeff Bridges and Kurt Russell, two of my favorite actors, was one of those moments that made me stop and smile.
It also reminded me of something...success is rarely one big break.
It’s thousands of auditions, countless rejections, years of preparation, and refusing to quit.
You never know which opportunity will change everything.
