Bob’s high school football coach Wade Williams and our former school superintendent Rod Townsend stopped by the house for a surprise visit tonight, down from the panhandle for a horse event in Hamilton. And I can’t tell you how much it meant to me. What great guys. (From left: Bob, Wade, Jerry and Rod). Thanks again, fellas. Love y’all. by @jerrymcadamsartwork

Buddy is so happy when he rides with me in the truck. He doesn’t care where we’re going, as long as he gets to sit on the console up against my shoulder. Love to see him smile. by @jerrymcadamsartwork

Had a lunch visit with our dear preacher friend Gary Montgomery Friday. Just turned 85 and he never slows down. He’s truly a blessing to all of us. Love the guy. by @jerrymcadamsartwork

Please, God. Watch over our dear minister friend Gary Montgomery as he deals with his own health issues. Give him strength as he insists on never slowing down while helping others every day. He’s God’s own Energizer Bunny who supports us all. Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of having Gary in our lives. Amen. by @jerrymcadamsartwork

Got up early and beat the heat with half day of fishing today. Mickey regained the crown with a nice 3-lb. bass. Burgers at Storm’s in Hamilton on way back. Good day. by @jerrymcadamsartwork

Look at the great new T-shirt my dear, dear friend Austin Arnold (Chuck’s youngest son) picked up for me in Omaha at the College World Series this year!

Seeing a CWS game in person there’s always been on my bucket list and til I get there, this is the next best thing. Thank you so much, Austin! Sorry your Longhorns didn’t last a little longer this time. Thanks again. Love you very much! by @jerrymcadamsartwork
