Congratulations to the Class of 2026 🎓

I had the honor of speaking at commencement this weekend, and while everyone is talking about AI, automation, and what the future will look like, I wanted to leave graduates with one thing they could count on:

Being a good human always wins.

Technology will change. Industries will change. The jobs that exist today may look completely different tomorrow.

But kindness, integrity, curiosity, generosity, and treating people well? Those never go out of style.

Thank you to Cannon School for inviting me to be part of such a special day. And congratulations to every graduate crossing the stage. The future is uncertain, but the world will always have room for good people.

Hot take: we do not have the same 24 hours in a day.

The secret to my success isn’t a 5am routine or an AI prompt.

It’s a village I was privileged enough to afford.

And until every woman has access to that kind of support (affordable childcare, paid leave, equal pay) we’re asking people to run a race with weights on.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’m also honest about the runway I had.

Both things are true.

The problem isn’t that women don’t work hard enough. The problem is we built a world where the village costs too much and then we call it a personal failing when she can’t afford it. by @jess_ekstrom

Here’s what I learned from the 🐐 @justbobbidotcom at @livelong_media 👉

I met her when I was an intern at the TODAY show and she was SO nice to me (not the norm for celebs + interns 😅). Turns out, she’s met so many people through just chance encounters that have changed her trajectory. So treat everyone like your future depends on it!

Bobbi started @jonesroadbeauty after her 25 YEAR non compete ended. You can be proud of what you’ve built and still want to do something else.

When she sold Bobbi Brown cosmetics with a 25 year noncompete attached, she told her husband “don’t worry, I won’t want to work in my sixties.” Think again 😂

Her story is so much evidence of just figuring it out as you go. Even during this interview there was a snag of me not being able to see the clock so I had to move seats, and we made a joke about it shouting to each other from across the couches. She’s the queen of rolling with it and I’m so glad I got to experience all of this in real time. 💕 taken in New York City by @jess_ekstrom
