𝕆ne 𝕐ear back in Germany = 𝕆ne 𝕐ear in my new home.🏡
Oh, what a year it has been.🥹🙏🏽
It wasn't always easy that's for sure, it still isn't!
But we're getting there.💪🏽
For now, I can say I did the right thing!
There were moments when I wasn't sure about it but the last couple of weeks have shown that sometimes good things take their time.🌻
Massive Thank You to my colleagues who made me feel so welcomed and appreciated!🌲
I found joy in the pool again, went to (a lot of) hockey and handball matches and started to find my people here, too.
So, thank you to everyone who's supporting me on this journey here and in my forever hometown❤️🤍 and to those of you where I can be who I truly am - sometimes goofy, sometimes quiet but never someone I don't want to be.✨️

2025 in the books📚
Filled with big moments, great experiences and exciting challenges from start to finish. Starting of in New Zealand, came back home in May, started a new chapter - new city, new job, new colleagues, new challenges but a lot of fun, too.🤍😁
Volunteering at handball events👯🏼‍♀️🌹, celebrating love at a wedding👰🏼‍♀️, first time feeling @f1 thrills live and cheering for @fernandoalo_oficial in Zandvoort🏁🏎🇳🇱 , icehockey🏒, handball🤾🏼, family and friends.❤️

📍NEW ZEALAND🇳🇿
8️⃣ months + 3️⃣ roadtrips + about 10,000 📸 & 🎥 =♾️ memories
More than a year ago I was going on an adventure.✨️ (Hobbit reference made😜)
I have been back in Germany for more than 4 months now and on some days I still can't realise how lucky I was to experience all these moments so far away from home. This video can't even catch a glimpse of how magnificent this journey was but I tried to put my favourite, funniest and sweetest moments together and hope you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed this trip.🤗
I came back with an empty bank account but still so much richer! With a heart so full of gratefulness and joy! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this crazy journey! You know who you are!
It's not about where you go and what you do - it's about the people you share it with!🌅🫂
Can't wait until we meet again!
I will always look back on our time with the brightest smile in my heart and on my face.🥰

📍TARANAKI🇳🇿
Even after being back home for more than 2 months I'm still in awe with the view I had the privilege to look at every single day (when there were no clouds.😉🌫)
Words can't describe what I've experienced in Taranaki but I'll try.
It has probably been the toughest time of my stay in New Zealand and not just because the end of my trip was coming closer.
I decided to share not only happy thoughts under this post even though the photos suggest otherwise.
Can't remember a year when May - my birthday months - has been tougher. Which says a lot considering it was always the time of the year when pressure started to increase during my sports career, exams took place, etc.
Decisions had to be made that had impact on my future for when I was coming home. Waited endless days - I honestly didn't sleep more than 2-3 hours a day - for a call that never came. Saw my future crumbling. Got surprised - which doesn't happen easily. Made the decision to start somewhere new when coming home, I couldn't be happier about that now! Because sometimes things just happen, the stars align, fate, ... I don't know... and you have to let them happen - take them as chances to take new paths!!
I took care of the 4 grown-up dogs which sounds like a dream but I was 80% of my days just by myself and those dogs helped me to get through them.🤍🐕
Had my 29th birthday (no pressure here for the timeline) at the end of the world, which wasn't that new because I spent a lot of my birthdays racing, away from home at the pools in France or Sweden. But I always had my friends there with me.
During that time I learnt so much about myself, what I want for me and my future, and that I want to spend every minute possible doing what I love and with my family and friends!❤
Thank you, Taranaki! - I'll be forever grateful for the lessons I've learnt. 🙏🏽

Adventure Capital of the World!
Little throwback to the most thrilling but also most expensive days of my trip.😄
• Spent some cool time at @queenstownicebar.🥶🧊
• Let out the inner child on a 70m drop and 300m swing @ajhackettbungynz Nevis Swing.🪽
• Visited some @lotrology filming locations.💍🧝🏼‍♂️
• Short day trip to 📍WANAKA🇳🇿 to finally see @thatwanakatree in the water.🌳
• Saw Kiwis at the @kiwiparknz.🙏🏽🐦
• Enjoyed delicious food.🍣😋
• Took the TSS Earnslaw across Lake Wakatipu to plant a tree 🌳 and having delicious afternoon tea.🍵
• Left back to the North Island with 2 cancelled flights and 3 rebookings.🛩🤪

After coming back from Aussie I had a week in Christchurch. Went to the Antarctic Centre.🥶
Attended a sports event.🏀 Finally got to see @wecomefromaway after not making it to their London run.🗺

From Christchurch all the way down to Queenstown.🚐
My first time free camping with a car. Wish we had done this with warmer weather.😅
