There's something pretty special about starting a new season.

You never really know whats waiting for you on the other side.

Looking back, last season gave me a few moments I definitely wouldnt have predicted going into it.

9 x Elite 15 start lines, breaking the doubles world record twice & becoming back to back world champs with Team Australia 🇦🇺

A lot of hard work, plenty of lessons and some memories that i'll hold onto for a life time.

No idea what this season has in store, but thats honestly the best part.

✌️ Hamburg x

Very ready to get home to Ted, Bindi and some Sunshine ☀️ by @jess_pettrow

More than anything, I'm proud of how I raced this one.

2nd place in the Challenger Division and a new PB

I went into Hamburg believing I was exactly where I needed to be. Whichever start line that was, it didn't matter. I just needed to do what I do best and what I love doing most, and that's to race.

There's a lot that goes into getting to these start lines, and I don't take any of it for granted. I've got a lot to fight for and I'm lucky to have an incredible team in my corner who make this all possible 🥰

Pretty stoked to kick off the season this way and excited to see what else is in store!

A little change of pace today taking on the 1km dash at the @runderlustfestival and coming away with the win!

Such a fun event, great atmosphere and loved testing some different gears against some fast runners! Good to know these legs can still tick over when needed ❤️‍🔥
