Have I been out in rainy humid Manhattan all day killing time after a 1pm meeting? Yes. Was it worth it because I get to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show? 1000x YES!! Thank you to @mabellechell for the ticket! by @jessaleigh_pg

It’s been waaaaaay too long since I posted anything, but last night’s Haute & Freddy concert was so KILLER. I had to post this gem from their album signing here in NYC earlier this year. Then of course a bit of last night’s fit! Such a good time! Happy to be a part of The Court™️ ✨🤡👑✨ by @jessaleigh_pg

2016 was a really tough year for me. I experienced a violent sexual assault at the end of 2015, so 2016 was colored by that and visits to the Brooklyn D.A., trauma therapists, doctors etc. My car was stolen, my bank accounts hacked and emptied—it was a bad time. But at the same time I found my strength that got me through it all. I began to dance. I clung to my friends. I traveled to film premieres for the doc I worked on. I also met my future husband! I guess that all goes to show what a mixed bag life is. Extreme lows and extreme highs all in one 12 month period. I wouldn’t go back. But there’s a part of me, deep down, that holds nostalgia for that time too. #10years #2016 taken in New York, New York by @jessaleigh_pg

You know what they say: It takes a village to create a Crab Man!

Go behind the scenes with DRY JANUARY’s cast and crew as they break down what it took to make this horror comedy’s crustacean creature come to life.

Get your tickets for the NY premiere on Jan 16 at the link in @cjlgva ‘s bio!

I decided to wear this purse that I literally haven’t worn since probably 2006. I’ve always had it packed away safely tho. Till tonight. I’m at the bar, I pull my phone out of a pocket and out flies a ticket stub. Bob Dylan. Detroit. April 12 2005. 20 years to the day! 🤯 It’s literally been untouched in this pocket since then. by @jessaleigh_pg

Now this is some mixed messaging. Shapewear, meant to squish your body into a more svelte form, referencing body goals (i.e. new year intentional weight loss goals) in one breath and then including THESE stickers in the next??? “I am enough” yet not enough without shapewear. “All bodies are beautiful” but ya still need to squeeze your ass into this body stocking luv. “Worth beyond measure” but only when you’re sucking it in so hard you lose a few inches around the middle right? If it weren’t so funny I might cry.

I haven’t been instagramming very well the past few months. Just posting holiday photos now? For shame! Tho technically it *is* the 12th day of Christmas today. So I guess I’ll give myself a pass. #12daysofchristmas by @jessaleigh_pg
