Some pictures from my show last month at Stoveworks! Thank you to everyone who came out to see the work and show support, and a huge shoutout to @camclark.art @katesigridgreenwell and @stove_works for helping put this together and make it happen <3 by @jessasheddart
“We’ve Been” Study #1 oil on primed wood panel 8”x10” been really exciting to finish a piece in oil, even if it’s just a study! feel like ive had a lot of half done larger works around the studio for months so having something that doesn’t need my attention anymore feels relieving. excited to work on this composition and turn it into a larger work in the coming weeks! by @jessasheddart
in case you hadn’t heard… i got into a wreck on the original date of this show so here’s the new date!!! so excited to finally have this show THIS FRIDAY! JULY 10TH!! once again thank you to @katesigridgreenwell and @camclark.art for being so helpful and patient with me needing to reschedule <3 by @jessasheddart
NEXT WEEK!! I have a show next Friday, July 3rd, at Above the Water Fountain inside @stove_works ! So excited for this one, it’s always fun to show off my internet puppies, especially on a nice crispy white wall <3 The show is from 4-6 so I hope to see you there! Big thanks to @katesigridgreenwell and @camclark.art for making it happen <3 by @jessasheddart
long time no see! im trying to be better about using instagram to show what im actually up to instead of just a place for finished work, so here’s a go at that over the last few months ive been working on my internet puppies (more on that soon!), creating a new body of work that continues to explore the dog motif and a lot of the themes i explored while in undergrad, and have spent the majority of my time teaching preschoolers! (peep the last two slides to see some of the stuff we learned about last week in my “art camp”) most of my energy is getting put into my job right now, but my goal over the next four months is to get back into a better routine in the studio and actually finish the work ive started!!!! by @jessasheddart
