Welcome to Author Services by Jess 📚📸🩷 est. 2022

4 years of working with romance authors, and 2 years of being full time. I’m truly the luckiest gal in the world to do what I love every single day, with the most supportive clients who have been by my side since the very beginning. I’ve been working with most of these clients for over 2+ years and I love seeing them continue chasing their dreams!

And because 4 years has gone by recently, and I’ve gone back and forth between business names (I’m indecisive okay), it felt like a refresh was needed from where it all started. And how talented is my client Nicole who also is doing her side quests as @nicolesdesigningsidequests! Hand drawn icons and the color scheme of my dreams, I’m forever obsessed with this branding.

Although I’m currently booked for my PA/social media services, you can always reach out for IG reel packages to check for availability beginning this fall! 🔗 in bio for pricing/inquiry form.

Now back to helping these authors chase their dreams! by @jessbooklife

reading update - last, now, next 📖🤎🍂✨

last books I read:
The Knave and the Moon by @rmgillig and Vampires of El Norte by @isabelcanas_ were hands down so INCREDIBLE. Add them to your TBR if you haven’t yet!

what I’m reading now:
Heat of the Everflame by @authorpenncole has me hooked and this entire series has me obsessed. I’ve been staying up until almost 1am most nights reading it.
I’m also in the middle of Vicious by @veschwab and I don’t ever want to put it down.

my next reads:
can you tell what reading mood I’m in?! I’ll be starting The Poison Daughter for a virtual book club, You Should Have Been Nicer to Your Mom for a Latine virtual book club I’m in, and An Immaculate Deception by Isabela Livino

POV: You start a bookstagram and it was the best decision ever 📖✨

From starting on Booktok in 2021 to here, it’s become my personal digital library and has changed my career. Truly so grateful for this space 🥹🫶🏼

Had a little bookstore adventure yesterday with Mr. Jessbooklife and visited the Bay Area’s first romance bookstore 📖✨

I’ve been wanting to visit since they’ve opened and finally made it to @anovelaffairbookcafe 🩷

I picked up:
Heat of the Everflame & Burn of the Everflame, because I’m currently hooked into this series and needed the last two books

Can’t wait to go back!

September reading wrap up 📖🍂✨

I’ve picked up my reading more this past month and have been loving falling back in love with it. I’m currently in my cozy romance, fantasy, and horror/thriller mode and I fear I’ll never be moving on from it.

Favorite reads from September:
🤎Vampires of El Norte
🍂Spark of the Everflame
🤎Sorrow & Strangers
🍂Knight and the Moth
🤎Grim Tidings
🍂The Some Day Garden

Also, sharing a few highlights from the month. And my current reads for October have already kicked off.

How was your September?! by @jessbooklife
