♡ I've chosen to take advantage of AI and use it to share who I am... the things I love, the passions I've had since I was a lil jitterbug, but have NEVER left me.

♡ I've had to learn to forgive myself for my past (and current) mistakes. No one is to blame for not bettering myself earlier and choosing to let go of my goals. Not only was I consuming these addictions, and loving it... I set the table for these wordly desires to sit before me. I made my bed with them and laid in it.

♡ I'm learning to be content with my struggles, having a spinal cord injury, etc, that have created so many obstacles for preventing me from achieving my dreams. The truth is... THIS BS IS HAARRDD!

♡ But after I've dusted myself off, wiped my tears, and throat checked myself to tighten the hell up and pick my head up (and humbly lower my head before Christ) I know that this way is better. God's way is ALWAYS BETTER.

♡ I'm so beyond grateful to be a mother to my 2 blessings from above, help others who may be going through similar situations, encourage trauma survivors who are fighting for their lives and be used however The Lord Wills.

♡ Man... the way God left such a beautiful reminder for us the other evening of His eternal promise. It was definitely needed that night for us all. As sis @tampanewyear3030 mentioned, if only the youth knew that beautiful rainbow was over their facility.

♡ We had a great night being able to share gifts and talents with each other by letting the youth have a lil open mic, which also turned into karaoke 😅🤣 That was not expected, but we did have some laughs!

♡ We used it as an opportunity to help them discover what gifts could be used to glorify God and for ministry. Ephesians 2:10
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

♡ Thank you to all of our #uyj sisters who came to love on these youth

Urban Youth Justice Ministry- this past Friday we asked the girls, “Who am I?“

The answers started with pain “Stupid”, “Worthless”, “Ugly”, “Addict” one even said she was called a prostitute 😕

But something shifted when we got to Gods truth - what he says about them, chains broke. Freedom took over. Releasing. Healing. ❤️‍🩹

They began to reject those lies and speak life over themselves. God is rewriting their identity. They will no longer respond to those false labels.

This is why we go. This is why we speak.

Jesus is the answer to all things especially lies.
