Dolfi Cautivadora outran the field on a coast-to-coast charge, carrying Jesse Bray all the way to goal in one of the most electrifying plays of the U.S. Polo Assn. Pacific Coast Open final.

Played by the American 7-goaler and owned by Justin Klentner, the 10-year-old mare (F01 Colibri x Cautiva) delivered a performance worth watching again—and again! 🔁

The team in blue and white did it again, adding another Pacific Coast Open championship to its history at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, in Carpinteria, California.

Setting the pace from the opening throw-in, Klentner Ranch took control early and never looked back. A dominant performance from start to finish ended in a seven-goal victory and another PCO title.

From the opening throw-in to the final chukker, success at the National Polo Center is built one decision at a time.

Trust the process. Trust the team. It is the discipline behind it all that builds the future.

At the National Polo Center, the best outcomes are built long before the final chukker.

Preparation. Precision. Timing.

Trusting the right moment to make the play.

Today we put the spotlight on Jesse Bray’s Sweet P — the young mare stepping into her first high‑goal season with the confidence of a veteran.

She was bred by the Bray family, out of the thoroughbred mare P1 and the New Zealand stallion Caesar, she carries a blend of size, speed, and raw athleticism that was turning heads in this year’s US Gauntlet polo.

Jesse shares:
“I have watched her and played her since she was born really, so when I get on her I have a lot of confidence. She stops very fast. She is very handy and quick for a big horse. She’s super easy, and she has lots of power. She’s probably a lot bigger than most people would like, but it doesn’t bother me too much. She just gives me a lot of confidence when I play her. I think I played her the 4th chukker all season — maybe the 3rd some games, but mainly the 4th.”

A young coat, a big frame, and a mind that understands the game far beyond her experience.

Sweet P is only at the beginning of her polo story — and already a standout for Scone Polo x La Dolfina in 2026.
