2021 was a life changing year for me as I was fortunate enough to visit 30 countries. One of the biggest lessons I learned is to be thankful for the small things. Seeing children dig for food in trash cans in countries like Jordan & Morocco made me realize how lucky we are to have basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter. Traveling has given me so much and I hope to inspire those to be more appreciate of the things we have rather than the things we don’t. The following are some of my favorite moments in 2021. Thankful for all that were apart of it. Here’s to many more adventures in 2022… 🌎✈️

I remember shooting my first show freshman year of college and being hooked. Fast forward a couple years and been blessed to share the stage with some of the most talented djs in the world. s/o @troyboi for letting me capture his set @foresthillsstadium last week in Queens.

One of the reasons I decided to start posting again was to not only share my experiences but also remind myself how grateful I am to have visited 37 countries. I often get asked how I travel so much and my response has always been that it’s a priority. Putting money and countless hours into seeing how the world works has been the greatest investment I’ve ever made. To those still reading, go take a trip this summer; it doesn’t have to be anything crazy. Take a road trip, a weekend trip, spontaneous day trip, whatever. Putting yourself out there will pay dividends. Shot @ Barcelona, Spain circa September 2021

We flew into Ireland and were left haggling with the only car rental place open; cars were super expensive because it was two days before Christmas (Dublin airport is one of the only airports in the world that closes on Christmas Day). I had taught myself how to drive a manual in Portugal a couple months prior and had been renting manual cars throughout my time in Europe but learning how to drive on the left side of the road was extremely disorienting. The next two days consisted of driving around the famous Ring of Kerry (scenic route), sleeping in the car, and seeing how beautiful Ireland was. It’s seeing views like this that remind and humble me on how small we are and how unimportant our problems truly are. Shot @ Cliffs of Moher on the Western Coast of Ireland, circa December 2021.

Near the end of my time in Europe, I saw a roundtrip flight from Budapest to Amman, Jordan for $23. I called @chrissjinnn asking if he wanted to come and he booked the next flight out from Houston. Jordan was one of, if not, the most eye-opening trip last year. Heading in to the country I had all these misconceptions regarding the Middle East; it was humbling to see not only how untrue these biases were but also experience how welcoming people were. Renting a car and driving around the country was surreal and it left me inspired to share this story. As corny as it sounds, I left extremely grateful to have experienced such a beautiful country and I can’t wait to be back in that part of the world. Shot @ Ad Deir (The Monastery) in Petra, circa December 2021.

When I first arrived in Budapest, I told myself I was gonna go to a new country every weekend. It was one of the first weeks where I didn’t have anything planned so I decided to book a last minute bus ticket to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. I’d seen this lake on social media numerous times but wasn’t expecting much. Turned out to be one of the most underrated and beautiful places I saw last fall. I remember asking Alyssa what her dream destinations were when we first started talking and she told me Iceland was one of them. Flights from New York were stupid cheap when I was studying in Budapest last semester so I impulsively booked her a ticket one night n texted her she was going to Iceland in 3 weeks. It ended up becoming one of our most favorite trips with some of the craziest scenery I’ve ever seen. Will be posting more from the trip but here are a couple pics shot @ Sólheimasandur plane crash on the southern coast of Iceland, circa November 2021

After extending our flight another day (these balloons fly in the Cappadocia region of Turkey every morning but sometimes are canceled due to inclement weather) we woke up to finally see the balloons in 20 degree weather. Swipe to see Alyssa’s reaction lmao
