Episode two: Mulberry Hill Estate

Some places don’t need dressing up. You walk in and the story is already there.

This episode is for Mulberry Hill. The books still on the shelves, the paintings on the walls, the saddles by the door. A home built by people who made art their whole life, and you can feel it in every room.

We came to shoot. We left feeling like guests.

Thank you @nationaltrustvic for opening the doors and trusting us with a place this special. Looking after homes like this means the rest of us still get to dream inside them.

12 years together and the day we have been dreaming about is around the corner.

Not because we get to say I do but because we have created it in a way that we will get to take it in and spend time with the most important people in our lives from set up to the day to a day to reflect we can’t wait to celebrate it with each other and to those who are making such a huge effort to share it with us 🥹 by @jessefletcher_

This isn’t about content… it’s about meaning.

My whole life I wanted to be a professional athlete but I never had the desire that I needed as a kid. Growing up I realised I still want to be involved within the sport/fitness community but where my purpose lies is showcasing those with the talent and desire. To capture their story and trainings.

Athletes work day in day out! Not just in their training sessions but in every little decision they make from their nutrition, to their recovery. The journey they take to get to where they are is the true story I love to showcase.

Don’t get me wrong capturing people complete what they have worked so hard for is so inspiring to capture but where the real story is how they got there. This is where I come in. Showcasing the raw moments in training so athletes can share their knowledge to others and also for them to look back on and see what they have overcome.

The Final 12km was by far the toughest. You always from other runners “35km is the hardest part of the race” and that was so accurate! The weather got warmer, legs starting to cramp and your whole body is telling you to stop. But that feeling of crossing the finish line with your why in mind and someone by your side makes it that little bit more special.

To those of you who are taking on a big challenge remember your why, your body is a lot more capable than you think and the reward at the end is worth it! taken in Gold Coast Marathon by @jessefletcher_

Completed my first marathon and this is what I learnt..

Don’t switch brands up last minute. I gave my brother one of the gels I’m use to and like to get me through my races and they weren’t the same ones he was using for his training block and this resulted in him having an upset stomach and took his focus off the race.

The support from friends and family is your motivation to keep going through the hard kms they were there for us at the best time just before we were going into unknown territory being above the 30km mark. by @jessefletcher_
