Getting ready for Complexcon / Thriftcon in LA next weekend. When Mars from Thriftcon hit me and told me about his partnership deal with Complexcon and asked me if I’d be willing do to an installation/ exhibit of some of my Vintage Ralph Lauren Polo collection, the answer came with zero hesitation. “Absolutely brother, I’m there!”. I’m bringing a curation of rare and unique pieces that, I feel, will resonate with the complexcon demographic and also bring back fond memories and nostalgia for us older folks who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. I am coming to wow and I promise to not disappoint. Even the most seasoned collectors will surely be in awe of the pieces that will be on display. I’m not gonna post most of this curation on the gram because you’ll need to see it in person to believe it. I will also have 3 or 4 racks of entry level ($100) to very rare ($3000+) vintage Polo items for sale, but please note that this is an installation first with a bit of merchandise for purchase. It can convert an entire folder of break beats, drum or percussion loops into drum machine Designer kits in seconds. It takes less than a minute for it to convert over 800 drum loops into drum machine designer kits. Lots of parameters that are adjustable so you can get exactly what you want out of it. No more clicks and pops at the end of your chops because it detects them and compensate by adjusting fade out.
