POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I rewrote this a few times but here goes:

I don’t enjoy celebrating the 4th. I’m not a patriotic person. I don’t get watery eyes when I see war planes fly over, I don’t like seeing military get put on a pedestal when vets are homeless and dying, I don’t like country music is the dominant soundtrack on that day.

I could go on. But because you’re still reading, I know that’s not necessary.

We (@thend999_ ) scheduled a night of live music that means something to us and lets us relive a time when maybe we didn’t fully understand the world we live in.

Hope to see you there 🖤

✨ Yesterday was probably the biggest thing to happen in my music career /so far!/ 🥹 incase you missed it, our #nprtinydesk submission has been selected for Top Shelf Feature /and/ Desk of the Day!! This really is such a big moment! Those selected as Too Shelf in the past have had incredible opportunities come their way just from THIS! It means we could win this whole damn thing! Even if we don’t, we could potentially still be booked for a Tiny Desk Concert and/or open for whoever does win on their tour or for anyone else who sees this and says “HELL YES! BOOK THEM!” 🔥 Regardless of the outcome, this is a huge win for ME and The Belonging. We are so proud and grateful! Thank you @nprmusic and Tiny Desk staff! We are hoping for the best! ✨

I/we wouldn’t be here without the amazing support and love from all of YOU! 🫶🏻 please engage with this post and SHARE SHARE SHARE! It’s a big help! 🙏🏻

As always, so thankful to The Belonging and our team! 🩵 it’s only from here, baby! 🚀 by @jesseisafriendd

Thank you to everyone who came out for the first Tacos and Jams. Next one this week on the evening of the 19th at @letsgostudio

Two things that I loved about this jam:
1) Seeing musicians who shred try out other instruments and feel safe doing so.
2) Seeing people who don’t normally improvise, feel safe doing so.

It’s that time of year again.
@prettynpunksac
The first of many posts to remind you that you’re busy February 6th.

This event means a lot to us. It’s our little baby that is growing into a beautiful little community. I’m especially excited for this years’ bands. @colesteef @contemporarygirlfriend and of course @lewdjawband

There will be people selling art, balloon animals, and providing community resources.

Much love, Jesse ❤️
