Better Ever Than Never is officially out! Thanks so much for coming along with me on this wild adventure that was 1-7 years in the making!

The album is streaming everywhere (except Spotify) and all links are in my bio or in my story highlights!

I want to thank first and foremost, @guffmcgufferson and @elfanglord for being such an integral part of this record. It’s so much fun playing with you guys and I hope you had as much of a good time recording as I do listening to it.

Next, big shouts to the production skills of @jessegander! As everyone already knows, Commander Gander is such a professional joy to work with and always brings out the best in everyone, and it shows in every song! Thanks to @cpsmastering as well for their magic, but I don’t have a Polaroid of Brock.

@dcymbalist did all the artwork, and always does such a great job of taking my silly ideas and inconsistent timelines and making them into incredible lasting designs.

@cookiecraven, @mrpederson, @russiantim61, @alicehong19, @matttellsyouwhattowatch all did some great gang vocals!

@rosewoodjesus sings on a song about Ben Sir, and I can’t listen to it without crying.

And finally, this record would literally still be languishing in unreleased hell if not for Steve @kindacoolrecords. If not for him, I wouldn’t have vinyl and probably wouldn’t have been able to release the album for another year at the minimum, and I’m gonna be eternally grateful for his help!

Releasing albums is a big stressful job, that can reach soaring highs and crushing lows all in the same day, so I’m so grateful to have these folks around me, to help me reach higher but also pick myself up when I inevitably fall.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our beloved Molly.

15 years is a long time for a dog but not nearly long enough for a friend. I spent more time with Molly than any other dog other than Dale and I’m going to miss her so much.

She was such a cozy sleeper, bold adventurer, and fierce protector (stalker) of the chickens.

Dogs come into our lives to be our best friends and it’s one of the cruelest jokes of nature that they don’t get to stay around long, but that window of time lets you love them so intensely that they remain long after they pass.

I’m doing’ a l’il run of shows 🎸🎤 with @ghostfactory403 (👻 🏭)at the end of the month down in southern Alberta, including my beloved Medicine Hat which is one of my fave places to play in the country but I have not been back to since 2018 when we played in the middle of a biblical sandstorm.

Excited to finally go to Drumheller too I’m gonna look at so many dinosaur bones 🦖🦕🦴 it’s gonna be nuts maybe even find a fossil! # I did the last time I was there and I was 10 and I’m way smarter now so IT COULD HAPPEN.

Had a great couple days of shows in the Okanagan this weekend, thanks so much to hardest working man in BC show biz, @iamjessenelson, who set it all up while in the middle of moving to a new town. Check out his band @idiofame or go check him out solo!

Thanks to @hausofmisfit.ca, @buffalo.rouge.brewing, and @anarchycoffeeroasters for being great hosts.

Got to end the run in Penticton for a really fun yard show with my old friend @brent.steele, who I hadn’t seen in many years and had been trying to get@me to come up for so long but hey better ever than never I always say. Everyone was really kind and it ruled.

Happy Dale Day to those that celebrate (honestly gfy if u don’t) to my hot son (yes he’s single, ladies 💍) Dale Danger Farnsworth!

9 years ago I was in Ottawa and @dcymbalist sent me a pic of a cute foster dog she just met and a week later the little fucker was sleeping in my bed. 🐀🛌 and now nine years later he is still the best decision we ever made.

Here’s to 90 more years (totally possible with his genetics 🧬 and my high level of income 💰 🐕🔬we will figure it out I’m sure).

May he outlive us all!
