With the heaviest of hearts we wanted to share that Belle “Bruce” crossed the rainbow bridge today. She spent the day surrounded by our love and a few of those who loved her most. She chose to go on her own, peacefully with us.

We love you Brucey, you were the most special dog I’ve ever known. Please find us in every lifetime. I hope you are running on the beach, using all four of your legs. You can never be replaced. We love you, Brucey Goosey.

A race of two tales. The first was Lennon’s story. She’s been running and lifting in the gym for the last few weeks to prepare for this race. She finished first in her girl’s 8-11 age group. The second, Cash gutted it out from couch to 1km. Two different approaches, one proud dad.

The goal, they have fun. The dream, they fall in love with running. We completed the first, only time will tell with the second. taken in Aurora, Oregon by @jesseleedavis

Happy 13th anniversary to the woman who has spent over a decade (21-years together - our relationship can drink!) proving that opposites really do attract and thrive.

Over the last 13 years, I’ve learned that all the things that “drive me crazy” are actually the things that make us work.

You’re wild… which means life is never boring.

You find the fun and quirky in everything we do… which means you make sure we actually make memories.

You somehow remember you need a drink, a charger, or a snack the second I get comfortable in bed… which keeps me on my toes.

You make me slow down… because apparently life isn’t just about checking boxes.

You parent me into being a better parent… and our kids are better because of it.

And you constantly push—sometimes demand—that I find a better balance between work, family, running and actually living life.

You challenge me, poke me, make me laugh, make me better, and remind me every day that the best things in life don’t happen on my schedule, they happen on yours.

We’re complete opposites… and somehow that’s exactly why we fit.

I wouldn’t trade this crazy life with you for anything. I love you.

My sweet little Valentines.

@ashleycdavis is the glue, the rally, the warmth and love of this family.

Got weird in the mountains with @acg a few months back. The team got lost in a blizzard and we discovered into some true mountain mushroom magic.
