An unreal effort from everyone to help raise this sort of number for a cause that is so damn important and often disregarded in this day and age. $8000 total raised for the Movember foundation for men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

The running was a big test physically and mentally for the pair of us where we both learnt a lot about ourselves running 400km over the month. Finney tackling a huge 42.41 km run from Heathcote to the Sydney Opera House (slide 2) and Wolf taking on the challenge of running every single day in November (slide 3). The truth… it was tough and there were days where it was a real struggle but we made it routine and were hellbent to complete this challenge for the good of the cause and to help encourage more noise and awareness for this struggling subject not many are ready to talk about.

Just a warm thank you to everyone that gave what they could and the support and encouragement behind the movement.
As we’ve touched on, we do Movember every year for a reason. There’s now 3 blokes in another place that we dearly miss every day that were so important to us all, and we never want any bloke to get to a point where they are questioning everything in silence… not to mention have families go through the pain of losing a loved one in that way.

Last but definitely not least, a massive thank you to these top notch local businesses including Mike and his team from Engadine Chargrill Chickens, Courtney, Kaylene and team from @luxestyle_salon , Luke Dickson from @lukes_carpentryhandyman , Col and his team from All About Meat and Darren Masters Window Cleaning who all chipped in generously and selflessly donating vouchers/funds to help make our fundraiser day on Saturday and our whole mission 10x better. We really are surrounded by the best community in Heathcote/ Engadine. We appreciate you all, thank you endlessly.
To all blokes out there… our door is open always for a chat and always remember, there’s always a light at the end of tunnel boys. Talk to your mates and tell em you love them because they just might need to hear it.
We will see ya all next year for a bigger and even better Movember!

We’re halfway through Movember! Jess and I have been pushing ourselves with our challenge, and I’ll be honest — it hasn’t been easy.

We’re not runners or athletes, so this has definitely been tough. But it’s nothing compared to the pain of losing a friend or family member to suicide.

Please consider donating today to help men struggling with mental health. Your support means the world. Together we can make an impact!

With love,

Wolf and Finney 🫶
