What does it mean to wear many hats? 👒

You might hear this saying thrown around a lot when someone describes all that they do in their job... and what they really mean is that they are multi-disciplined. This trait is essential if you want to succeed in a start-up company or as an entrepreneur. A true marker of a multi-disciplined individual is adaptability. Are you able to think on your feet when you are out of your element? Can you recognize mistakes you might be making and be humble enough to admit it and try again? Can you pivot from styling an outfit to integrating a marketing plan to community management?
When you are adaptable you will be able to transition rapidly between disciplines and new scenarios, and truly undertake all that is involved in running a business.

Here are some ways to set yourself up to persevere and accomplish that desire:
▫️ Get clear on your goal and the WHY behind it.
▫️ Imagine yourself living your goal every day. It activates the law of attraction and brings the people and resources into your life to accomplish it.
▫️ Cultivate a network of support who will be your cheerleaders and are ready to offer encouragement when you have self doubt.
▫️ Be willing to pivot when you hit obstacles.

Let’s try this again - like I said... I have a weird job.

It’s not something I learned about in school or even imagined in my mind. I have always felt like “a jack of all trades, but an ace of none.” I used to worry how that could apply to a career. Somehow my wide, yet somewhat random, skill set translated into the new and ever-evolving influencer industry.
