Autumn at The Tithe Barn. Pure magic. 🍂

Em + Mike celebrated their first anniversary recently, and we realised we’d never shared a single photo from their wedding!

One of our favourite venues, The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey, showing off in full autumn glory. Golden tones, candlelight, that crisp Yorkshire air — the perfect backdrop for a day that felt relaxed, heartfelt, and full of love.

Em’s dress from @hope_and_ivy which was perfectly altered by @westyorkshireseamstress looked INCREDIBLE and perfect for this Autumn wedding. Mike, calm as anything, taking it all in. The whole day had that easy, cosy energy we absolutely love about autumn weddings — unhurried, emotional, and just a little bit magical.

We’re massive fans of this time of year to get married. The colours, the light, the atmosphere — it all just hits differently.

There is something so lush about the wedding planning process with couples where after hearing all the ideas, the plans, the little stresses, the lead up to the wedding…we get to see the couple totally relax into the moment and just *be* on the day ✨

There comes a point where there’s nothing more you can do, no more planning or last minute panics and you can just accept the day and vibe it out and that’s when the magic happens 🧡

Congratulations to Lauren and George who got married at The Arches on Sunday! The sweetest, kindest couple I could wish for and it was such a privilege to be a part of their special day! Witnessing Lauren’s smile from start to finish was so lovely!

They had a wonderfully personal ceremony courtesy of @ceremonieswithrachael in front of their amazing display of flowers from @theprettiestposy (on plinths Lauren and her dad had made) followed by an epic confetti moment.

They danced their way into the reception in funky glasses where heartfelt words were spoken by family and friends, one in the form of poem! The dancefloor stayed packed with L&G front and centre having the time of their lives. What a wedding!
