hot air balloons are somehow both peaceful and terrifying. the burst of fire every few mins scared the shit out of me (someone with an irrational fear for stove flames), but that’s also what kept us afloat in the sky, trying to catch some wind, to carry us somewhere in the middle of nowhere. there’s no steering. you just work with whatever direction the wind decides to go. you may land where you want, but you probably won’t.highly recommend getting 10,000ft above ground in a basket 🧺🎈💭 by @jessiel0316

Budapest photo dump 3+ months after the trip 👵🏼fav moments with @sijia.z_ in baths, early afternoon walks, market strolls, dinner with dips, ruin bar crawls, cute brunch spot where we waited for 40mins for eggs and açaí bowls and saw kitchen staff examining grapes 🍇 one by one before cutting them in halves. by @jessiel0316

once again, I ran through 5 boroughs to scream at and hug friends who’ve unfortunately gotten used to me yapping about long runs, injuries, where peroneal tendon is located, gels, electrolytes, why elliptical is the most boring workout on earth, what I do in PT, and so much more exhilarating topics 🤡big shoutout to @tdecker2 who helped make finishing 26.2 miles physically and mentally possible, with a 34mins PR that I didn’t know I had it in me. thank you for everyone who came out to cheer. it was so good to see familiar faces and have someone to look forward to every few miles 🥹#tcsnycmarathon by @jessiel0316
