POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A couple of weeks ago I posted this photo of my fridge on my story. It has our 20 week baby scan images but also a prayer that’s been on our fridge since early 2022 that my Mum wrote out for us to declare. For nearly four years I read that prayer, sometimes with faith and other times it was kind of painful to look at, so I’d just open the fridge and get on with my snacking 😬

I had a number of people ask if I would share the prayer with them so I thought I’d post the full prayer here for anyone waiting and believing God for a baby. I’d be honoured for you to take these prayers and pray them with faith over your life. May your faith be strengthened and encouraged that after seven years and many miscarriages and surgeries and dead ends, He came through for us. We are now seven weeks away from holding this little guy.

My parents have some 90s home video footage of me making my younger siblings sing a song I learned in kids church that comes to mind… “If He can do it for ME, He can do it for YOU!” 🤎 by @jessieroserayner

264 - Walking Through Infertility

@jessieroserayner bravely shares her journey with infertility. Jessie-Rose details her fight against envy and bitterness. Jessie-Rose tells us how she's found God to be especially near and details the solace she's found in Psalms like Psalm 43. Without knowing how their story will unfold, Jessie-Rose encourages us to seek the one who loves and holds us as this is ultimately where we can find peace in the midst of the pain and difficulty.

Jessie-Rose Rayner is a song-writer and worship leader with @kingdomculture_worship. Jessie-Rose is married to Dan and they live in from Brisbane, Australia.

Would you join us in praying specifically today for Jessie-Rose & Dan as they continue to seek God for breakthrough in their journey to become parents. Lord, for Jessie-Rose and Dan - and for any others watching this who long to have children - would you hear their heart-cries and make a way for this to be possible. In Jesus' powerful name, Amen.

The song Jessie-Rose refers to in the video is called Hiding - from the album Honest Conversations. You can find the link in our bio.

Streams Studio is able to create and share these videos thanks to your generosity. If you feel moved to give in order that we can host more conversations like this one, please follow the link in our bio. Streams is a registered charity/non-profit. Thank you. by @jessieroserayner

“I can’t wait to meet you” turned four yesterday — I got an email from my distributor. It sat in the voice memo app for a good year and a bit before that, where I would listen to it privately. Should we measure a song’s birthday from when it’s written or when it’s released?

For years after it was out, I would skip the song if it ever came on shuffle. I associated the song with processing my grief and waiting, and honestly a good dose of vulnerability whiplash. It was one of the first times I had publicly spoken & posted about the waiting journey we were on. I remember the day it came out, I felt more vulnerable than I ever had with any song before. I remember thinking — “well now my hope is truly out for the internet to see & if this doesn’t happen everyone will really know about it.”

But I’m glad I articulated my hope. It’s vulnerable to say what we hope for out loud. Sometimes it can feel like you’re in a fish bowl with everyone looking on. But when I said that to a friend at the time, she said “a fish bowl is the perfect position for a miracle”. So let that be an encouragement to someone today.

It’s also been so special to rediscover the third verse as a prayer and benediction to pray over Raphael. These past few weeks I’ve sung this prayer as I rock him in the chair. The lyrics carry a new weight with him here in my arms. 🙏🏽🤎 by @jessieroserayner

A blessing of waiting seven years = cousins.

@pascallefargnoli hadn’t even met @g1lesy3 when we started trying at the start of 2019. But in those seven years they met, got married & had two babies so now Raphael has cousins to love and welcome him. by @jessieroserayner

Won’t He do it! 😭🙏 ONLY GOD!

Just over 12 months ago, my beautiful friend @jessieroserayner shared her story of trusting God in the wait. Today, she’s holding the miracle boy she prayed and waited over 7.5 years for!

What a reminder that God is faithful, even in the waiting. His timing doesn’t always look like ours, but He is always at work.

We DEFINITELY need a follow-up episode! 😭🤍

If you’re in the middle of the miracle go check out the podcast. I guarantee it’ll build your faith x by @jessieroserayner

Today was Raphael’s first day in church 😭 It was a holy moment to hold him in my arms while worshiping — this little miracle and answer to prayer. Prayers prayed not just by us, but by so many. It was holy and humbling, and I’m so very grateful. by @jessieroserayner

Week two of Raphael 🤍

We’ve been working hard this week to shake some jaundice & gain weight — and he’s growing and more alert everyday which is so good to see.

Some highlights from this week:
- His first bath
- Meeting his extended Rayner family
- Sunshine on his skin
- Contact naps
- Cuddles with Ouma
- Francesca knitting a little dingo 🥹
- More beautiful flowers, thank you @abbie_munns & @darlenezschech
- Unpictured: our fridge, freezer and pantry more stocked than it has ever been. So grateful for every meal & snack. We’ve been on a pretty rigorous schedule to get my supply up and we needed some donor milk this week while mine was still coming in. Our village really rallied 🥹 So very grateful for friends who have helped keep us and our little guy nourished this past week. Thank you, all of you! 🤍🙏🏽 by @jessieroserayner

1. Six days of Raphael Rayner. Best week of my life. I’ve cried tears of joy and gratitude almost every day.

2. Billie was not happy that she needed supervision for her cuddle 😂

3. Perfect angel

4. Such a helpful sister 🤍 @pascallefargnoli

5. I have hardly left this chair all week & I’m not mad about it.

6. Roses & mail 💌 @gwestt

7. And the little beanie & booties bought 2.5 years ago in full faith that I’d hold a baby in my arms. Thank you @miafieldes

8. “HELLO RUBBER DUCKY”

9. Trying to write words and I’m crying again 😭

10. Goddaughter meeting Raphael. Mads and I were both trying for babies together back in 2019. Scout is now six and a half and holding my baby 🥲 so redemptive.

11. 😭 again

12. His great grandparents. 89 & 91 years old — four generations sitting on the couch. I don’t want to take that for granted.

13. More flowers

14. The girls holding the baby they’ve been asking Jesus for at bedtime prayers, for as long as they can remember.

15. Cousin cuddles.

16. His perfect little hand. by @jessieroserayner

Raphael Luciano Rayner 🤎
11/08/2026

His name means “God has healed” (😭) & “light & shining”.

I had a worship playlist on in theatre and this is the moment that played when they first handed him to us — “No I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken, so I recall His faithfulness to mind, because He’s come through every single time. So on Jesus I will fix my eyes.” And I just cried and cried and cried.

What a happy day. by @jessieroserayner
