We can’t keep calling it repentance if we’re only asking God to forgive what we’re unwilling to let Him change.

That means being intentional about what we entertain, the habits we keep returning to, the environments we place ourselves in, and the choices we make when nobody’s watching.

Maturity is realising that being wanted and being valued aren’t the same thing.

Someone can want you without being willing to do what it takes to love you. They can love the way you make them feel without knowing how to love you well.

Feelings determine who you want. Character determines how you treat them. Real love requires patience, sacrifice, setting aside your pride, and choosing what honours God over what satisfies you.
