Yesterday, I had the privilege of being back in Indiana as a speaker for Cataract & Laser Institute ’s Ocular Disease Update!

10 hours of CE, great conversations, and the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful colleagues, friends, & old classmates. Always grateful for the chance to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and keep moving our profession forward.

Our first time staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel, and I can officially say I understand why it’s such an icon! From the old Hollywood glamour to the dreamy pink and green details, every corner was a vibe. And let’s just say, all that pink and green made my Delta Zeta heart extra happy! šŸ©·šŸ’ššŸ¢

Academy 2026 ✨ What a jam-packed week!

So busy that I somehow hardly took any photos—which is probably the best sign of a week well spent. šŸ˜‚

From lecturing and teaming up with industry partners on advisory boards, to presenting new research and catching up with so many friends and colleagues… it was a full few days in the very best way.

Grateful for the conversations, the collaboration, the learning, and this profession that continues to bring some pretty incredible people into my life. šŸ¤

Until next year, Academy! šŸ‘€ taken in Anaheim, California by @jessilinquint

Feeling incredibly grateful after being part of the Alcon National Meeting.

One of my favorite parts was spending time with the amazing Alcon team. I’m so thankful for this partnership and for the opportunity to work alongside people who are passionate about helping patients have the best possible contact lens experience.

Saying ā€œyesā€ to opportunities like this always leaves me inspired, energized, and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to continuing to innovate together and make a difference—one patient at a time. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @jessilinquint

Everyone talks about eye drops, but what about a few unexpected tools that are part of a dry eye journey? These are a few dry eye gems I love on major sale for Amazon Prime Day Deals. Snag at a discount while you can!

1. Eyederm Masks – My go-to when my eyes look as tired as I sometimes feel. Helps reduce puffiness, dark circles, and signs of fatigue without ingredients that make your ocular surface throw a tantrum.

2. Tangible Fill – If you’re a scleral lens wearer, this is the ride-or-die friend you never knew you needed.

3. Colorescience Sunscreen – My daily MVP. Honestly, I wear this more often than foundation. Sun protection, skin-loving ingredients, and zero regrets.

4. Blink NutriTears – One of the few dry eye supplements backed by actual science. Because ā€œtrust me, broā€ isn’t my preferred level of evidence.

5. Twenty/Twenty Beauty Eyeshadow Stick – Dry eye-friendly makeup that actually stays put. Easy application, great colors, and no glitter fallout invading your tear film.

Dry eye care isn’t always about what goes in your eyes. Sometimes it’s about what goes on them too.

What’s your favorite under-the-radar dry eye find? šŸ‘‡

Norway, you were a dream. šŸ‡³šŸ‡“ Between the stunning scenery, amazing food, and unforgettable experiences, I completely fell in love with this country.

One of my favorite moments was being there for Constitution Day and seeing the joy and pride Norwegians have for their country and traditions. There’s something special about experiencing celebrations like that firsthand.

Travel is one of my favorite reminders that the world is so much bigger than our everyday routines. It stretches our perspective, sparks curiosity, and always leaves me coming home with new appreciation….and usually a few ideas and lessons to bring back with me. taken in Oslo Norway by @jessilinquint

A few days filled with lectures, meetings, collaborations, and some of my favorite parts of this profession—connecting with incredible friends and colleagues. I apparently forgot to take photos of most of it, but I’m leaving with a full heart and plenty of memories.

If you’re in your season of watering…keeping going.

If you’re in your blooming season, what’s something in your practice that’s finally blooming after years of work?

For me, it’s learning that growth doesn’t come from doing more-it comes from building systems and developing people. Watching team members gain confidence, take ownership, and create incredible patient experiences is one of the most rewarding things I’ve seen bloom over the years. Being a business owner isn’t always easy but it’s worth it when the flowers bloom!
