two months ago, I found myself needing to figure out where I was going to live next.

life was changing faster than I could process it, and somewhere in the middle of everything, I realized I didn’t want to go back to renting. I wanted a place I could make my own, feel grounded in, and grow into whatever comes next.

I started looking… and somehow, only TWO MONTHS later, I’m standing here holding the keys to my first home. 🥹🔑

I don’t think I’ve fully processed what I just did yet. it’s exciting, scary, bittersweet, and honestly a little surreal.

this home came into my life during a chapter where I was learning that sometimes the life you planned isn’t the life that unfolds, and that doesn’t mean something beautiful isn’t waiting on the other side.

I know homeownership here can feel so out of reach, so I hope sharing this little chapter reminds someone that it’s not impossible. sometimes you’re closer than you think 🤍

I’ve spent a lot of my life thinking about what’s next… where I’ll go, who I’ll become, and all the things I thought I’d have figured out by now.

I’m 30. I still have a million things I wanna do, I change my mind all the time and sometimes I’m still like wtf am I doing 😂 but I also feel like I know myself more than I ever have before… and there’s something really peaceful about that.

I’ve always been someone who looks inward and tries to understand myself, but something about this year feels different. I feel like I’m seeing myself a little more clearly… my emotions, my patterns, the beautiful parts and the uncomfortable ones too. Learning to meet myself exactly where I am, while gently making space for new habits, softer thoughts, and all the parts of me that are still unfolding.

Bless actually came to me with the inspiration for this shoot and I loved it right away. But when I got the photos back, they felt a lot more personal than I expected. Somehow she captured a little bit of that inner world without either of us even trying to.

There’s something so special about a photographer who sees more than just making you look pretty. These made me actually feel something when I got them back. Thank you @blessaimages 🥹 for seeing the vision before I did, creating with me, and capturing a version of me I think I’ll look back on one day and understand even more 🤍

And no I did not secretly get married 😂
