Jessica Menshoff; Chef
Jessica is an honest example of how much creativity can thrive when given the environment to do so. She often utilizes her cultural background to cultivate dishes that transport you to a different time and place but still carry the essence of a home cooked meal. Jess is a huge collaborator in the globally inspired menu that Heirloom Kitchen is well known for and her Azerbaijani influence can be seen throughout many of her dishes. An influential piece of her puzzle is her ability to maintain her bright and bubbly personality during a busy service. She’s always serving smiles and laughter along with dishes that are unmistakably infused with her love of cooking. #teamheirloom #chefjessmenshoff #heirloomkitchen taken in Heirloom Kitchen by @jessmens

Jess’s hot cross buns are an Easter staple at Heirloom Kitchen. This year they were paired with Alexa’s blueberry basil butter & it was a match made in heaven.

At Heirloom Kitchen, we’re turning our attention to the cuisine of Azerbaijan, often referred to as the “Land of Fire.” Located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, its cooking reflects centuries of cultural exchange and a strong connection to seasonal ingredients.

On April 12th, Chef Jessica Menshoff will present a six-course tasting menu inspired by the food of Azerbaijan — a cuisine that is part of Jess’s family heritage. The menu draws from the dishes and flavors she grew up with.

The evening will unfold as a six-course tasting menu exploring the flavors, techniques, and traditions of the region. This is a one-night experience inspired by the cuisine of the Land of Fire.
