Wow - what a year. There were good, great, and really difficult things. I am blown away constantly by this community - my colleagues, authors, producers, mentors, and so many others that I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past year. I don't have to earn my rest.

Everything is not mine to manage or regulate.

Having fun instead of checking off my to-do list is healing, not weakness or incompetence.

Doing something slowly isn't doing it wrong.

Maybe my life I'm working so hard for is when I need to slow down enough to actually live.

A little reminder for my fellow eldest daughters: You are allowed to put the knitting down and finished. You are allowed to sit in the sunshine. You are allowed to just be here.
