The summer I started my guided ketamine therapy journey 🤍

This is probably one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever shared. After struggling with depression, past trauma, almost 10 years on antidepressants and years of talk therapy, I decided to try something I honestly never thought I would. I started my guided ketamine therapy journey in June 2025, doing 6 sessions over the course of 6 weeks.

I had repressed so much from my past that there were things I couldn’t even remember to talk about. For me, ketamine helped bring some of those memories and emotions to the surface so I could finally work through them.

But it wasn’t a magic fix. I still had to go to therapy, face what came up and put in the work. As I started healing, I eventually felt ready to gradually wean off the antidepressants I had been on for almost a decade with proper guidance. It wasn’t something I forced. It happened as I continued healing.

Almost a year later, I can genuinely say I’m happier than I’ve been in a very long time. Life still gets hard and I’ve experienced some of my deepest grief this year, but I handle those moments so differently now.

Most of all, I’m grateful to God for guiding me through this journey. 🤍 I’m also so grateful for my husband, my family and my friends who supported me through it all, and for Dr. Jacob Silverstone and the entire staff at @rewired_ketamine for guiding me through this entire process.

This is just my experience and my story. If sharing something this personal helps even one person, then it was worth sharing. Love you all.

We might have a lot in common or be completely different, and that’s cool too …

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Jess ❤️

I love sharing a little bit of everything. Decorating way too early for the holidays, being a wife and spending time with my family, my faith, spending my husband’s money at Target 😂, loving every dog I see, being obsessed with Dr Pepper, and having a big heart for helping people.

Do we have anything in common? 🫶🏼

This is your sign to take a rebound class at @rfstudiosmiami Roya is such an amazing soul. The class is an incredible workout but it’s so much more than that, the way she lifts everybody up and makes you feel amazing is honestly spiritual. I’ll definitely be coming back! Had the best time with my mom too 🤍
