so excited, proud, and all of the other adjectives to finally share the news about my new role with @fcnordsjaelland as the sporting director for our women’s team. it’s been three seasons of fighting for this club, and while it will look a little different in june, the work continues. for now, it’s full focus on the last rounds of the season and of course the cup final…my last game ever in the red and yellow. so thrilled to see where we can take this program and the incredible women that make it up🐯❤️ taken in Right to Dream Park by @jesssiedavis

i’m not crying, you’re crying 🥹

a very emotional very last home game at right to dream park. spent most of the night before awake and most of the day of crying, but in the end, it was a beautiful send off with a great result and as many smiles as tears. tusind tak to all who made it special. two games to go and a bit more work to be done ❤️ taken in FC Nordsjælland by @jesssiedavis

one season. 40 matches. a lot of good times and some tough lessons too. a lot of travel. big belly. a new tiny fcn fan. a million memories. thanks to our players for believing in the vision. we will be stronger next year. thanks for the best staff around. being away was hard but I trust and appreciate you all so much. for those leaving, you’ll be missed. special shoutout to chris. a lot of laughs and tears shared over the years. you’ve left your mark forever on the program and for that i am so proud and grateful.

it was a bittersweet end to our european campaign last night, with a loss to frankfurt in the europa cup semi-finals. it is a bit tough to put into words how special the last months have been for me to watch this team compete, while also juggling pregnancy, birth and now motherhood. bringing my little one to watch the team last night was so special - she has been with me every step of the last year, so it was only fitting she was with me last night.

i dreamed of these moments as a player, and watching them unfold in real time for our girls and staff was so incredibly special. yesterday’s end was of course painful, but i am so beyond proud of what we accomplished over the course of the whole tournament - we lived (and died!) by our playing style, showed incredible bravery, with a very very young team, and didn’t stray from our values against any opponent, no matter how strong they were.

when i played at fcn, this was always a distant hope for the team, and now we are living it. there are so many tough lessons in sport, but being one step further away from it in this particular moment makes me appreciate the beautiful game so much ❤️🐯 we will be back. by @jesssiedavis

year two done. silver in the league, silver in the cup, gold in my heart 🥈🥈 and most important BACK IN EUROPE!

nothing prepares you for the ups and downs you go through in a year. the joy, the disappointment, it’s wild. i think we all look back and know it could and should have been better but damn am i proud of this group for continuing to show up, even when it was hard. it’s the hard that makes it great @fcnordsjaelland 🐯 by @jesssiedavis
